The 5 year old run away student is ABSOLUTELY heartbreaking. You do NOT talk to a kid like that AT ALL. That police officer is an abusive individual if he talks to a KID like that, not even a KID, a BABY.
He is this way, acting out because PEOPLE treat him like shit. Actually hearing the kid cry, has me crying.

Idk if you are delusional, or you're just not using ur thinking cap but he's 5, not 12, not 16. The cop has no right to speak him like that, he just yelling at the kid not trying to teach him what he did was wrong @Blackkvtty69

@@Blackkvtty69 Does that mean yell at him? Did you ever stop to think why kids do bad things? Why they act out?
He doesn’t get love at home. Kids like that are ignored so they break things, act out. They get attention, they’re paid attention to for once in their life. But when that attention goes away, they go back to destruction.
They ask themselves why are these people hurting me when all I want is their love and attention. Instead of yelling and hurling abuse towards the kid in this manner, why not level with him? He’s 5, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to get down to his level and speak to him about why he’s doing the things he does. Your job as an adult is to help guide kids to be better, not toss them around and hope they suddenly fix themselves

Why’s the cop handling the 5 year old immediately going off on him like this kid shot someone?? HES FIVE! He shouldn’t have ran off of school grounds but I’d be raising hell if I was the parent. Maybe he has autism, which can sometimes cause kids to act out no matter the parenting style.

You can discipline your kids in a right way without traumatizing them or hurting them. Some ppl still think that physically or mentally hurting your kid will help. Their mental trauma and anger will just grow and mentally hurt them in life. This way, they are also taught that later in life hurting ppl in any way is okay, as long as THEY think its justified. Because they were taught that mentality in their own ‘supposed safe space’:their home.

  • @Revs21_4

Discipline starts with expectations. If you laugh when your kids hit something or destroy something, they think they are doing something good. Later on in life when you decide its not okay and try to change it yes they will push back. Set up the right expectations about how to behave in school, at home, with strangers, and people of authority and kids will know discipline. There is no reason to hit a kid.

from the way the mother described Nex's situation, it sounded like an epilepsy seizure, I use to work in med team at my old Highschool and that shit is horrifying, the girl who had the seizures hit her head as a kid and she had developed epilepsy from it, no matter what the prosecutors say, what the judge or autopsy say, that could have been epilepsy and they can not rule that out, hitting your head in anyway can give you epilepsy, Nex could have committed and it could have been OD, but that still falls under Epilepticus, Nex could have very well died via Epilepsy seizure and no matter how you look at, in both scenarios, those bullies caused it, if it was from hitting their head, those girls caused a TBI, Traumatic Brain Injury which lead to a seizure, they way Nex's mom described it fits all the criteria of a Light Sensitive seizure, rolling eyes back, muttering, rigid breathing, convulsions, seizing up, curling hands and posturing, meaning straight legs, stiff muscles, bent arms and curled hands. If it wasn't the head injury and was caused by drugs, Those girls lead someone, a 16 year old, to end their life.

The thing with the 5 year old makes me feel physically ill... I was physically abused by my mother for many years of my youth. Getting "whooped" IS abuse, especially when it's against a child with mental issues they don't even understand or know about. I would get beat for stupid stuff like bad grades or a note from my teacher saying I talked too much in class... and she also did that stuff the cops did where they mocked his cries by screaming back at him.
As a teen, I even had my mom doing that exact thing to me when I had a full autistic meltdown and panic attack because she was trying to KICK ME OUT AT 17. I am homeless now because of her, and I always hate hearing anyone talk to or about their kids in such a way... I feel horrible hearing this, and it was an honest mistake that I choose to listen to this vod to sleep. Now I'm wide awake and my day is already ruined... I hope that little boy is okay.

I did a project for public speaking about spanking and saw that parents most commonly spank to teach discipline and decrease the behavior, but most commonly, it makes a child fear their parents and resent them even when getting older, it still effects the child into adulthood with depression, generational trauma, etc.

Wooow! The 5 year old video is crazy! they are creating someone who's never gonna respect higher authority because higher authority will scream in your face, that's insane and I hope those cops got fired! Bullying a 5 year old child because he's being disruptive which could be many many things? ranging from the parents fault to just because that's the child acting that way.

  • @Lucienchol

Its wild how at no point the cops stop and ask themselves why a 5 year old is acting out to such a high degree. "How do you learn that type of behavior at 5?" They say while threatening and yelling at the 5 year old he's gonna get beat for not complying. Gee wonder why he is beating his classmates and breaking shit when he doesn't get his way...A true mystery there/sarcasm
Anywa Kenji speaking facts, beating just instills fear until it doesn't. All they learn is they get their way by beating others and getting all up in their face

These officers have no right to a badge and should be invested for any prior abuse.

He's 5 man... like I get the frustration, but at the end of the day he's a five year old kid. A literal baby. Chances are he's being abused or mistreated at home & has adapted to (learned) to vent his frustrations through harmful behaviors. This kind of behavior is learned. If he's constantly being taught to mistreat people when he's angry, he will not learn that this behavior is inherently bad. It takes a lot of patience to deal with children, especially children that young. Sadly, the adults around him are constantly failing him. Shit is heartbreaking to watch.

17:12 Everything Kenji says here, I 1000% agree with! Heck I've been saying most of it for years. I do consider spanking as a valid form of discipline, but with restraint. One firm spanking, then you explain why you spanked them so the child associates the bad behavior with the pain/embarrassment of being spanked, and then reassure them that you still love them.
Edit: Also Lowkey that kid has Autism, and I Guarantee it's undiagnosed. Take it from someone with Autism, that kid absolutely has Autism, which just makes the fact that those crooked fuckers were advocating so intensely for his mom to beat him even more despicable.

I get how annoying crying kids can be especially if they themselves did something stupid. But the reaction she did is no where justified, not as an adult, not as a cop and definitely not as a human. She had training, but has no empathy and as kenji said generational trauma. Idk about beating your kids, but i know that violence alone is not how you teach kids, thats how you scar them. See how they never really talked with the kids about the consequences of his actions, showing him what empathy is by explaining stuff to him? Explaining why things he did is wrong? Or even make sure he's alright at first? When he was safe, you have 3 adults ganging up on him, yknow it will fuck him up. As an adult you have to set on a ideal, a imagine to look up to and learn from, what they did is teaching him that violence and abuse is ok, since even police did that. Idk if his behavior will change from that encounter, especially when he got traped in the office. Hes in an age were he still can learn, which is why im so angry at the cop for their lack of empathy

Im not a mom but Im definitely getting life in prison if I found out two black officers tossed, grabbed, verbally harass my black son. If it’s against the law to spank your kids then the mom is correct. If the mother said weapon then she most likely means a belt which is in fact considered CHILD ABUSE on a FIVE year old. They were literally telling him they hope his mom beats his ass that doesn’t mean love taps. They were aggressive. They were strangers. Now the child has a fear of police officers. Also, they should have gotten fired or suspended with no pay and the mom should have won millions of dollars not 200K.
Side Note: I am a spoiled child who was born in the time where punishments wasnt a child abuse law yet, but being spoiled doesn’t create terrible kids. I know the mother says he is spoiled but she said “If he has a good day…” then proceeds to tell the officer she REWARDS him for good behavior. That is not spoiled. That is not the problem. I think the mom needs to take her child to therapy or continue to reward him when he acts correctly and not just give give give. Taking gifts and rewards away is a punishment. Staying in the corner is a punishment. Not giving in is punishment. Breaking a $1000 computer is crazy, but at the end of the day she’d rather give him the world as a single parent than to punish him and lose him forever.
