I started a perfume tray this year. Not monthly or weekly because I’ve found that I don’t like feeling pressured to wear certain scents and those scents only, so my tray is just basically a reminder of ones I want to see(I have my fragrances in closet within my closet) and be more aware of. Since I have more fragrances than there are days in a year, I’m hoping this will help me not neglect the ones I crave. 💜
We are thinking the same! Great video. I also love tea scents. I only have 2 full bottles of perfume, and they are Remember Me (sweet, creamy, spicy tea) and Je Ne Sais Quoi-a very unique but addicting smell. At first I was like, NO. Then I kept needing to smell it. Then put it on. The next day, I’d put on the same shirt and wonder what amazing echo of a fragrance was left behind. So aptly named, je ne sais quoi. To me, it’s a savory gourmand, like rice crispies cereal, and over time it turns into a subtle rice crispy treat on my clothing. Delightful!
I totally agree about Remember Me being clean and fresh! Its a very lightweight gourmand if you ask me. I see so many people only wear it in the cooler months, but for me I love it in spring/summer. I need to wear this fragrance more too, I adore it ❤
I love Mon guerlain, the original. I’ve tried lots of scents but I keep going back to this. It was my first “grown up “ scent. I think it’s very sophisticated.
I love (++) Noir from Ford, I also love its inspiration Club de Nuit Intense by Armaf. Fabulous list, I have most of them in 10 ml decants. This video has inspired me to go through my travel size cabinets. You look beautiful. Have a blessed Thursday.
Yes please. I'd love to hear your thoughts on other perfumes you have in your collection. Of these I have Mon Geurlain and love love love it. I'm going to ty the Jovoy Remember me. It's right up my alley.
I try to layer perfumes to make them feel new again! If I’m inspired by a specific fragrance, I’ll try to find 2 perfumes that would have similar notes when combined. Some of them it’s obvious to me that they’ll layer well (it’s like cooking without a recipe) and if I’m not sure I’ll test on a strip of paper.
Yes please to regular tray videos. I like them as they help me to commit and take out last minute indecisions. To me, the real benefit is that it's helped me recognise what perfumes I can live without and let go. RM is a regular on my tray, even off-season. I laughed at how you sprayed it; that's how I spray and explains why I've ony got about 10ml left 😂.
Hi Hayley😊 ! I also love JE NE SAIS QUOI and TARDES so much🥰 ! I have 2 bottle of both ...that means a LOT !! Tardes could be my signature if I only could have one ! Regards from Portugal 🇵🇹❤
I reached a point where I got overwhelmed by my own collection, at about 75 perfumes (around 30 full size, and the rest either travel size, oil travel size, and a couple body mists). In the last month, I’ve had 4 that turned bad. They were all “clean” and it’s true that sometimes they go back quicker, one was second hand also. It was only the first seconds that smelled weird, the dry down still smelled good. One week i sprayed one all over my apartment and was able to enjoy it for days (on textiles). Another week i sprayed the other. The other 2 were oil perfumery roll ons (with a lot of citrus notes, that I’ve had for more than a year) that I’m using in my all purpose cleaner, my dish soap, hand soap, etc. The feeling of overwhelm (trying to use everything, be “seasonal”, etc) and the fear of having fragrances go bad made me declutter about 7 fragrances (and I had declutterred a few bottles over the years too). I really want to have less perfumes… big bottles of only the clean, skin like, versatile or the ones that you need a lot of sprays for them to perform well and stick, and travel sizes or samples of distinct, specific, strong ones that I would not wear very often. I did an exercise of asking myself how many times in a year will I realistically wear this perfume, and how many sprays do I use for one wear (it really depends on the perfume, sometimes less than one, others 10 sprays) calculating 10 sprays per mL. I don’t know what’s the perfect size collection for me (I absolutely love perfume, and like to wear some 2-3 times a day) but maybe ideally 6 big bottles (maybe 8 or 10) and 12 travel sizes (maybe 20?) and a lot of samples just for fun? I’ve definitely had a obsessive/compulsive shopping problem, this year I was able to spend 75% less than the year before that! I’m proud, but I still think the amount spent this year is high. I think ideally i would like to spend no more than 500$ per year on fragrance.
I have Club de Nuit Intense Armaf for women which to my nose smells very similar to Tom Ford's Noir de Noir. I simply love it and agree that it is better suited to colder weather.
Very nice selection of "underrated" (not talked about enough) fragrances. Remember Me is quite nice, but it has a little too much milk for me, so I never grabbed a full bottle. I haven't smelled Je Ne Sais Quoi in a while, but I remember it being a very nice powdery perfume (it's matching tea is also very delicious). My favourite version of Mon Guerlain is the Intense one because they amp up the vanilla and I'm not the hugest fan of lavender. The truffle note in noir de noir is not a chocolate truffle, it's a mushroom truffle. Lots of people when they mention the truffle, then say they smell chocolate, but I've honestly never got that. Yes, it does have patchouli, which can have a chocolate facet, but I still get more earthiness, rather than chocolate. In any case, it has the honour of being one of the few fragrances with a prominent floral note, that not only I don't despise but I actually love, so it will always have a special place in my heart.
I know this is probably a very random question but would you mind sharing where your flowers are from? (I’m assuming they are not real because I’ve seen them in too many videos to possibly be real 😂 but they look very real nonetheless!)
No worries at all. I built the bouquet myself but they are faux flowers. They were from a mixture of places but the pink roses were Habitat and the majority of the rest was Homesense
Hayley: “…I know some of you have pretty large collections…” Me: *guiltily averts gaze*🌚 Thank you for reminding me of some of my underused beauts, I’m more of a “Fire at Will” than “Remember Me” babe but yassss to Noir de Noir! Being very stingy with mine but should get it out more.
Je ne sais quoi was interesting to test, but not for me. It smells a lot like genmaicha tea! For a rice fragrance, I love Riso Tuttotondo or l’eau papier! (Btw if you like l’eau papier Check out Book Loft candle at bath and body works! Definitely reminds me of it) Another 13 i really like, I bought a 10mL decant and it lasted me because it’s a strong performer. Considering a full bottle 🧐

Yes to more of this!!
Maybe you can do a “Shop my stash” every season. I would love to see different fragrances than what is popular at the moment.
I love Mon Guerlain! The original EDP and the Intense are my favorites ❤
Yes, please make this a regular series.

Love this idea instead of only new releases!! 💖
Hi Hayley! Yea I love the idea of making videos of you shopping your stash. Forgotten fragrances need more love and air time. Big fan of that.
Thanks Hayley! I enjoy this theme, please continue. I'm a big fan of Remember Me, Mon Guerlain Intense & Another 13. Haven't tried the others.
Yesss! Definitely need to remind myself to shop my huge collection to give them more love… instead of keeping on buying new ones😅 Love this ❤

Great idea :) I did it too today actually. I grabbed rouge interdit today. It was a memory travel ☺️
Love this video idea! Please do more ☺️
Yes, please give me more video like this!! I also love the videos when you say this vs that fragrance that you do until you decide on the final pick!
I’ve been doing a better job of wearing my collection. I have slowed down buying tremendously in January!
I really like this series!

I love this video idea and would love to see more of Shop Your Collection!
Love noir de noir ❤
Love this video! And I adore Remember Me, it’s fairly new to me, I am finding I very much enjoy tea notes in perfumes 😊
I love Tardes! It’s a very easy reach and likeable but it also stands out. It’s perfect for any occasion.
