I don't know one long term HCA that seems happy with the job . Been on the bank as HCA for 6yrs worked in every type of ward and I'm also a student nurse now . No offence to any HCA I'm one myself and I know everyone needs to earn money to feed Thier family, however I don't advice anyone to get into it long term . Being a HCA id a hard thankless job and u will be worked into the ground ,I'm glad I done it as I gained lots of life experience and it made me a better person , however I only wish I moved on sooner. This video shows the HCA working in a GP surgery (health centre ), doing OBS and taking bloods etc, jobs like that are hard to come by and u will most likely be in a understaffed care of elderly ward up to Ur knees in piss and shit , whilst trying to stop about 6patients from climbing out of bed at same time .trust me I know healthcare
Thank you for contacting Health Careers. We do understand that HCA’s all work extremely hard, your feedback about the advert is important to us and we are grateful for your comments.
