Well,I just got my “fully loaded” GLE 450d yesterday. I am very impressed. Hello Nick i been watching your videos for a long time now and never seen anyone else explain the way you do and thank you for that.GLE is an amazing car I hope one day I drive this car looks great.
I Should be getting my 2024 GLE450 this week. I did put my order in during December of last year which was supposed to be built around February. But for some reason it took a while for MB's system to schedule it in for build. So it ended up started being built towards the end of April. I currently drive a 2009 Toyota RAV4 V6 Sport. So when I decided to look for another automobile I wanted a minimum of another 6 Cyl. With a lot of the car manufacturers only offering 4 cylinders now. This will definitely be a step up from my RAV in both size and Luxury.
@captainkiddoregon Great!!! This will be a giant leap into the luxury class with more than enough horse power for you to enjoy the ride. Hopefully, you have ordered the acoustic comfort package with your GLE450 vehicle that will improve the ride quality with more noise insulation and double-panned windows for the cabin. Congratulations!!!
@@HungHuongLifestyle Yeah the Acoustic option was one I did add. I added quite a bit of options. Not necessarily every one I kind of wanted but needed to stay in a certain budget.
a few months ago i finally got my facelifted gle 53 as the suv version. the overall design is a bit old already, but i wanted kind of an old school car with a combustion engine (as far as possible). the next gen is hybrid or ev. So far, its great

Proud owner of a 2024 GLE 300d AMG Line Premium Plus, this thing is great, but my steering wheel is different, it's round and mostly black with nappa leather.
@@npoleary Mostly, what version MBUX it has and if it has wireless CarPlay, but I was also glad to see your demo of the "invisible hood/bonnet" feature. The trailer hitch was also interesting, but, of course, my car will be fitted with the North American style receiver hitch.
@@npoleary North America we have fixed hitches on all vehicles (that have one). Makes mounting a bike rack real easy. BTW do most folks in the UK/Euro market use roof racks for bikes or something else?
Thank you for your amazing videos! I recently got the GLE450, and it is absolutely fantastic! Your videos have been super helpful in helping me uncover a bunch of cool features. Keep up the awesome work! 👍🏼
I have heard that HVAC switches have been removed on 2025 model. For my money I would also remove the side steps as they just muck up your trousers when getting in and out.
2025? So this must be rumours surely? This is the facelift that’s just come out so they’ll be a little while before any changes are made to the this model.
Great video. You stayed away from the silly fake exhaust crap and gave a real user insight! I'd like to see it do a bit of off-road in the next video😉 #MBUK
Thank you! I honestly don’t mind them, I watch UA-cam a lot and other car reviewers mention them but I don’t see the fuss about them. It’s just kind of cutouts to make it look like exhausts. The real exhausts are on the AMG’s.
Great Video, but not everything is better after the upgrade. I had a GLE Coupe 2021 and now i have the upgraded GLE, but the dashboard and HeadUp display have a lot less possibilities to adjust. I could adjust every theme at 3 places on my dashboard and now you just have 1 theme where you can adjust just the middle. Also the HeadUp display had the possiblities to adjust at three places, but now you can not adjust anything, you just can choose a theme. I miss it, but i think and hope i'll get used to it. Also in my 2021 car the automatic parkassist worked and now i have the option, but it isn't working because off regulations. But otherwise everything you reviewed and tested is true. A great car.
Yes true but I ran a poll on UA-cam and asked if people had different displays and they all virtually had the two dials with the speed in the middle. The customisation was cool but not sure how many people actually changed it. Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video. Have a 2020 GLE and it was useful to see the differences, the biggest of which is the price jump. With the agency model and no dealer incentives, I don’t see myself upgrading any time soon sadly.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! Yes I bought my car on Agency model at my local dealer. They do have discounts and offers but they’re not set by the dealer. They’re fixed and the same for everyone round the UK. So there can be offers, but very unlikely on a new model due to demand.
Great videos thank you. The only annoying and very noisy part at least on the 2024 GLE450 US version is the rear camera deploys at 15MPH and I've been told by MBUSA it's part of the pre-safe feature. But for a 2-1/2 ton SUV it is fun to drive.
Thank you! I asked Mercedes this years ago and this is what they said. Reversing cameras used to be just mounted on the exterior exposed to the light conditions which made it show the image instantly. Because they were on the outside they got dirty very quickly. However newer styled cameras now have a retractable housing which is good for keeping it clean but the camera when it pops out has to expose for the light (daytime / nighttime / low light etc) and it can take seconds before it actually shows you an image. To combat this Mercedes will have the camera “pre-pop out” as you slow down so when you do select reverse, the image is shown instantly.
Thank you! Sadly I’ve not seen it here in the UK, the Mercedes guys here don’t know anything about it. I remember reading it but it’s a USA only thing as far as I’ve seen.
I drove the facelift model which is in the video. I drove it for 5 days, a very nice car to drive. it does feel that is aged a bit considering the technology in the new cars such as the current C and E class.
Yes that SuperScreen tech is pretty cool! But that came out on the new E-Class model, this was just a facelift on the GLE here. So if history repeats itself, that might make an appearance in 3-4 years time on the GLE. I don’t know that for sure but you never know Mercedes might have the next best thing, something even better for the next model! 👍🏼
God forbid you get your hands wet or dirty 😎. Maybe big SUV’s should have a fold out sink with a reservoir and tap to wash grubby fingers to avoid staining the luxurious interior. Awesome review as usual Nick, thank you.
I'd so love to drive GLE or even GLS. I'm currently rocking a C class, which I am very satisfied with, but I won't mind trying a bulkier car the next time, especially with some more luxurious options
I like the touchpad on my GLB but the radio randomly changes channel and I think that has to do with the touchpad. The GLE has those grab handles which can act as a buffer so it is less likely to happen. Wish I could afford this car.
Great review we.went from a glc to the gle and it was a hard choice between the 300d and 450d but there is not much in them performance wise and you save a bit on mpg with the 300d so we went for the 300d premium its truly amazimg
Hello Nick - Thank you for your awesome and informative videos.. I was wondering if you had any insight on if Mercedes will eventually update the GLE’s multimedia system to the one that is currently in GLC - specifically the vertical middle screen .. Thanks
Thank you! Glad you enjoy them! Well this is the facelift GLE, so Mercedes run models usually for 6-7 years with facelift halfway. So technically speaking the GLE would get an upgrade in 3-4 years time. But honestly by that point they’ll probably have something that’s even better than that! We’ll have to watch this space! 👀
Hi Nick, big fan of the channel, mainly because I'm getting my first Merc next month! Although I'm getting a diesel GLE, was wondering if you had any figures on mpg and range for the Hybrid
Oh awesome! Thank you! MPG figures are all on the brochures on Mercedes’s website (for each engine etc) for the diesel entry level one GLE 300d states 36.7MPG to 41.5MPG. Range of the plug-in hybrid goes up to 63 miles 👍🏼
Happy with our GLE350d 2019 here in the UK , which is the year of launch of this shape. Going well at 34000 miles. Was strongly considering swapping out for a 350de 21 model let’s see. This 400e is a beast and more powerful than the 350de on paper, but being new is just a big gap in price at the moment
Ah nice! Yeah I would love one of these, slightly overkill for what I need but it’s still an awesome car. And the range of the plug-in hybrid is incredible!
For the regular GLE, does the hybrid functionality only apply when you’re at a standstill when the engine goes off? I really need a 7 seater but with the plugin hybrid
Mild Hybrid just assists the engine so there’s no All-Electric drive. It’ll give you a little surge in acceleration and also can turn the engine off to save fuel as you slow down. For a plug-in hybrid, this is where you can plug it in and drive on electric. But due to the extra battery needed, it would be 5 seats. As I cover other brands of car manufacturers too, not seen a plug-in hybrid 7 seater on any car maker yet.
@@npoleary thank you for your response. My next question is about plug-in hybrid functionality in extreme weather conditions. I live in Canada and it could get really cold here (-40c). How well would a hybrid plug-in perform in such conditions
Wow that is cold! Lithium-ion batteries do often perform worse in the cold so a severe range deduction is to be expected. If it’s that cold I would presume half, however I’ve never been somewhere that cold so I could be wrong on that front. At least you’d have the added bonus of being able to warm the car up from the comfort of your home. Question, how many layers do you have on in those extreme temperature? That sounds mighty cold! 🥶
Thank you! Sadly no I’ve never seen wading depth figures and in my research for the video I couldn’t find it from Mercedes literature :( so I’m presuming not that high, on my research however I found the wading depth said 500mm to 600mm on the previous version but couldn’t find any info on this one. Might be worth giving Mercedes staff a shout in a dealer or something to double check though
We have the touchpad in out 2024 GLS 580 as well, and I'm sure for the same reason, as I find myself leaning forward a lot to use the touch screen (I need to learn to use the pad!). We took ours on a trip from Michigan to Florida recently, and noticed that the seat bottoms seemed a bith hard compared to other cars we've driven long distances, but otherwise it was very comfortable. You probably didn't have the GLE long enough to see if you felt the same.
This is similar to the 23 GLE Coupe we traded for the 24 S580. Ours had all the options as well. If you do a review on the updated Coupe that would be great. Yes, that Star on the front was HUGE. All our cars have soft close doors, which I think is a must. But honestly, the GLE Coupe we had closed so easily and rarely used unless I just pull it to close. As for a pencil, yes, it would snap it off. Google the dumb Sheriff in the US who tried to sue Mercedes over loosing a finger in his GLE with SC doors. Yeah, lost the case of course. I think that MB changed the width and travel, as the gap needed to close, you couldn't get a pinkie in there. LOVE the updated front end and lights. We have the Multibeam on all our cars, however not sure if ILS is activated in the states. I have a friend with a STAR unit and Software, thinking of turning it on. Tow Bar is wonderful, found the button on one in the showroom. We wish our S Class had the HUGE display, miss that for sure, and Heated and Cooled cup holders.....not on the S, unless you get the Chauffeur package.. I saw a GLE AMG 53 Coupe at our dealership in Emerald Green. Looks almost black in the shade, but in the sun, wow. Thank you for another great video. BTW, the E450 we ordered loaded (with Super screen) is making its way to our dealership by truck. We get to check it out even though we let go of the build having the new S Class. If you were here locally, our dealership would let you make a full video walk around and drive.
Awh thanks for sharing! That’s lots of interesting info! Yeah I love the exterior too, seen a couple of them around on the road already! Oh yes S580! That is super luxurious!

Ah nice! You following me? 😂 haha No honestly I don’t think I drove on that road when I had it though so it must have been someone else. The majority of driving I did in the New Forest and on a long trip up the UK.
Hey man i wanted to ask u about my GLE 300 2020,it had a button on the center console and i pressed it down but now i doesnt come up,do i have to be worried about it or it isnt a big deal i can send a video if needed
What was the button for? I mean yeah you can send it to me if you like! But if it’s not working you’ll have to get it checked at a dealer or something Emails the same one on my about page on UA-cam “contact@npo-media.co.uk”
Why on earth did I subscribe to this channel? A smiley cutie full of praise and wonder about a sponsored car review. Ergonomics? Net seat pockets, exposed armrest cupholders, panels that don't match, cheap plastics, but otherwise a perfect car. Really?
To clarify one thing…NONE of my car reviews are sponsored. They never have been and never will. I would hope that people subscribe to me and watch my videos for my independent thoughts. Honestly don’t know what the issue is with net pockets on the back of seats, and the cup holders in the back. I’ve just reviewed a car from another manufacturer that has the exact same setup that’s close again to £70k & £80k. I’ve sat in many cars, and the cheap scratchy plastics are not in this car. If I found then I’d highlight them so people can make an informed decision. But in all seriousness I’m always open to suggestions on what to cover. Just not had suggestions before to cover nets on the back or cup holders.
Hello Nick, I purchased a new 2024 GLE350. I have noticed on two occasions where the manual buttons around the track pad on the center console stop working. In fact the track pad itself stops working as well. I am not sure if I have somehow accidentally disabled any functions for this to happen or am I experiencing my first bug or technical issue with the GLE. Any thoughts?
Replied to your two other comments on other posts/videos about this: I’ve not noticed the trackpad stop working on any car that has one that I’ve tested. On Mercedes new models it was present in GLE’s, GLS and possibly the Marco Polo if I remember. But not had it just stop working though, might be worth chatting with a dealer to see if they can check it out?
This car has an older person vibe in my opinion. Someone who would appreciate the size, the air suspension and soft closing doors and doesn’t necessarily care about the (arguably) outdated multimedia (at that price point) or overall design. With that it’s pretty funny that they’ve thrown the entertainment package and AMG options in. It kinda feels like this car needs a new model rather than a facelift at this point.
Oh really? Outdated multimedia system? It’s one of their newest? I said in the video it’s MBUX NTG 7 or gen 2. Cars from most manufacturers have a product cycle of usually 6-7 years with a facelift halfway and this is exactly where the timing falls on the facelift. Facelifts aren’t a new model it’s just a new face with a bump in specification 🤓 A brand new model would be in 3-4 years time 👍🏼 if Mercedes choose to that is!
@@npolearyYeah what I meant was not the multimedia system capabilities but rather what Mercedes is doing with newer models like those with big central display or hyper/super screens even. This particular system looks great in a compact A class or CLA but not so much in this huge (and expensive) car.
Oh I see like Hyperscreen and SuperScreen? Gotcha! That makes sense! Well naturally I would presume something like what I saw in the E-Class to appear in the GLE in a few years. Honestly tech (in general) these days moves at such an alarming rate but when it comes to cars it can take years for new shapes of cars to develop. I’d love to make a video on that sort of topic, like phones typically have like a new model every year which we all kind of expect but when it comes to cars things like safety systems and design, chassis, regulations etc it can take a really long time for car manufactures to design a brand-new model. They’re probably working on it right now, and it might be even better than the stuff we’ve seen already! 🙏
They’ve had them for a while I believe, I only started covering Mercedes in 2020 so have limited coverage on models before that. But…I believe they had it on S-Class for quite a while (similar to a 7 series for comparison). And possibly their GLS models as well?
That's an amazing video there as always, thanks. Just wondering; speaking of the Engines @timestamp 19:00 - I've seen the 450e (a plug in hybrid)..is this version not available in the UK/Europe markets. Thanks
I did actually record that bit but I chose to omit it among a few other things as the video length was getting quite long. But I could keep it in for future if you like!
Had 2018 GLE and really liked it. Tech such as auto parking was much better than the X5 I bought after it. Would have stayed with Mercedes but after using two both major Mercedes service partners in Vienna I vowed I would never buy Mercedes again. Both arrogant, from sales to service teams, and on one occasion completely botched a service that left me only with first gear. They had the car towed then and said I should call the next day. I called the next day and they couldn’t locate the car. It took them 4 hours to find it!
Aiming to do some more BMW content in the future for owners and potential buyers! Did you see the self parking comparison I did between BMW and Mercedes?
Good job it’s got a massive touchscreen then! Of course there’s the touchscreen, touchpad and steering wheel controls and voice too! Loads of ways to control it!
Nick, i'm in the process of buying a new GLE 450D but I can't find one with the same steering wheel you are showing apparently that steering wheel isn't available in the uk
As I mention in almost every video (I add notes to the descriptions as well), specs do and will change over time and of course round the world. This car was provided by Mercedes-Benz UK for review so was a UK registered car. Just gone onto their latest brochure and yes it does look like the steering wheel has changed but you’ll have to ask Mercedes when that change happened. Their latest brochure says July so it could be a recent change? You’ll have to ask them 👍🏼
Hello. I love tour shows. I just bought a GLE Coupe. I realize that it has no wiper blades on the back. Any idea why? Many thanks and regards from Switzerland
Usually saloons and coupes in all types of cars don’t due to the curvature of their bodywork and the aerodynamic properties that I can has. Hatchbacks and Estates will because their rear window is almost at a 90° angle to the road at the rear, which means when it’s wet more water and dirt will spray up. It can still happen on other types of cars but not as much.
I may have already filmed it 😜but just need to edit it I work about 3-4 videos ahead (believe it or not) 😂 Two ready for next week, so keep an eye over the next couple of weeks! Members get to watch them early just as a heads up! 😎 ua-cam.com/channels/8VSC5vv_SUeydoBo9ISucw.htmljoin
Hello Nick, thanks for your very interesting and educational videos. I have a question for you, if you please answer: I have a 2024 GLE 350 SUV 4MATIC, Canadian model. For about a month when I bought the car, whenever I was entering into under ground parking (I live in a condo), the parktronic was automatically started but now it doesn't anymore. I checked the manual and some videos but couldn't find any reason. Could you please assist me. Thanks MJ
Ah thank you! I’ve see an option where you can get the camera to come on automatically on some models. Possibly just the newer facelift models and ones with a 360° camera. When you press the park camera button, it brings up the view of the car on the screen. However if you look at the far right hand side there is like a gps symbol. If you press this, it will retain the car’s location and load up the camera every time you enter that point on the map. Not every car has this, so double check. I’m guessing this is what you mean? 🤓
@@npoleary Thanks Nick for your prompt response. What you were saying is called "Park Memory" and currently available on S class. What I was saying is that today, when I get into the underground parking, I have to push the camera button in the central consul and then click on the top icon and car starts searching for empty spot. In the past, first month or so when I bought the car, when I was getting into the underground parking, both of these were set automatically. This is what I'm missing and looking at you to use your expertise to resolve it. Thanks again Nick. MJ
Hi Nick, ah I have seen a couple of models that I’ve reviewed just pop out the camera automatically which I assumed it was just down to the facelift. I’m 99% sure the newer GLE’s do it as when I had one on test from Mercedes I’m sure the camera came on automatically when I drove into a space and the sensors detected something. So I assumed it was something to with the latest generation multimedia system. Although I will add, I have not seen a setting to toggle this on / off. But reach out to the guys that work at the dealerships and they might be able to advise! However next time I’m filming a tutorial and I have access to a bunch of cars I’ll keep you an eye out for when the cameras “pop out” and show on screen.
@@npoleary it’s the elongated rocker switch in between the seats. I was trying to get my elderly mother in and I thought if I push it forward, the car would lower so she could get in easier as it was in comfort mode, which I presume is mid range on the suspension height, so I wanted to lower it.
Oh I see that one 😎 So many buttons! So I found that switch will do: 0 = Normal +1 = Raised But to get to -1 height…press Home, Settings, Quick Access and look for the picture of the symbol with a person getting in the car, that’s the one to lower further
Well there are the Premium & Premium Plus Packages. They offer all of the gadgets 😎 Yes surprisingly! But you can opt for the 3.0L too if you want the extra power
@@npoleary the rims and steering wheel for the car you're reviewing isn't available in the UK, which is ironic given that your reviewing the car in / for the UK.
The car was delivered by Mercedes themselves, unless they’ve changed the specification since the facelift car was announced or released which can happen. I just check out the car they send me, prices and specs will always vary slightly as car manufacturers do often amend specs throughout the year. According to their eBrochure it’s for cars made March / April onwards, so if you chat with a dealer there may be still some in stock.
I wish Mercedes wasn't forced to abandon diesel in the North American market. I would love to have a mild hybrid diesel instead of the gasoline model I have now (GLE 450). Also the abandonment of topside oil changes is a big disappointment. Just leave us the fake dipstick so we can evacuate the oil from the top please!!
I've had a GLE 350de for about 18 months and it's the most unreliable car I've ever had. It's had about 8 weeks in the garage. Really put me off Mercs. When it runs well though it is lovely.
Real answer about mbux 2 or ntg 7 about small display and return of the button is that is the best way, more safe and more comfortable against the bis display like big tablet, that is very unsafe and very uncomfortable!!!! When you drive in highway and you have to turn on just air conditioning or change music you have to remove your eyes from the front and search the right button on display….very bad and very unsafe 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
This car is full of plastic rattling from the door panels and squeaks from the dashboard. The Mercedes Logo projector from the ORVM’s become flaking like virus infected and has to be replaced every six months.
I had the plug-in hybrid on test and there was very little plastic in the facelift version. It was extremely quiet as noted in the video. All of my reviews and content are editorial free, I do not work for a car manufacturer so I share my honest thoughts and feelings with everyone. Also I should add, the video has been up for 10 mins and the video is over 20 mins so you haven’t seen the drive at the end where it’s very quiet!

2025? So this must be rumours surely? This is the facelift that’s just come out so they’ll be a little while before any changes are made to the this model.
Woo.. this is niiice. Thanks for the review. Excellent, Nick!✊🏿🙏🏿
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video! 🙏😎
Come here for some inspiration currently have a GLC
Hello Nick! Great content every time. Can you talk about the MBUX with ChatGPT? I have turned that on but still don’t know how to use it.
Thank you!
Sadly I’ve not seen it here in the UK, the Mercedes guys here don’t know anything about it. I remember reading it but it’s a USA only thing as far as I’ve seen.
Good video again Nick looking forward to a GLA test
Thank you! Already covered that one, it wasn’t that long ago: ua-cam.com/video/BRUBt00cXDQ/v-deo.htmlsi=2tTBeTOOVrD7gChA
Haha 😛
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
I'd so love to drive GLE or even GLS. I'm currently rocking a C class, which I am very satisfied with, but I won't mind trying a bulkier car the next time, especially with some more luxurious options
If you’re impressed with C-Class, the jump to E-Class / GLE is even better 🤓
@@npoleary I guess so! I wouldn’t mind E class either. In my opinion it has the best screen layout of all models (I’m not a fan of the Hyperscreen)
Good one, thanks Nick.
Thank you! 🙏
Very good review 👌
Thank you! 🙏
I like the touchpad on my GLB but the radio randomly changes channel and I think that has to do with the touchpad. The GLE has those grab handles which can act as a buffer so it is less likely to happen. Wish I could afford this car.
Me too! I’d love this! My dog could run around in the back 😂
Great review we.went from a glc to the gle and it was a hard choice between the 300d and 450d but there is not much in them performance wise and you save a bit on mpg with the 300d so we went for the 300d premium its truly amazimg
Thank you! 🙏
Very nice! 👌🏼
Hello Nick -
Thank you for your awesome and informative videos..
Ok - Gotcha .. Thanks again for the great info and quick reply .. You are first class !
Great video as always..from a Gle owner
Thank you! 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it!
It's funny to hear you talk about how big it is when they make an even bigger one.
Yeah! I want to try it out 😎
Happy with our GLE350d 2019 here in the UK , which is the year of launch of this shape.
Will there be an electric GLE Coupe?
Don’t believe so, Mercedes have a model called the EQE SUV which is the closest model to this. But not seen a coupe version announced
Hello Nick, fantastic review of the 2024 GLE. Do you know what the wading depth is for the GLE by any chance?
Ah very nice!
I had it for a week and spent as much time in it as I could 🤓
Does anyone know if the wireless Apple CarPlay allows for full screen yet?
Yes it does
If it’s wireless in the new models, it’ll be full screen 🙏 Finally! 🙏
Im a car transporter driver nd do mercs up the north east a bit,but i had a load of Volvos on on Wednesday which is our normal stuff nd im sure i seen u at a roundabout in this in Poole while i was on my way to the compound at Ling road. 😀
Ah nice! You following me? 😂 haha
No honestly I don’t think I drove on that road when I had it though so it must have been someone else.

Replied to your two other comments on other posts/videos about this:
I’ve not noticed the trackpad stop working on any car that has one that I’ve tested. On Mercedes new models it was present in GLE’s, GLS and possibly the Marco Polo if I remember.
But not had it just stop working though, might be worth chatting with a dealer to see if they can check it out?
removing the track pad (on other models) was a bad decision
Facelifts aren’t a new model it’s just a new face with a bump in specification 🤓
A brand new model would be in 3-4 years time 👍🏼 if Mercedes choose to that is!
Just taken delivery of my 2 nd GLE and want to switch the over speed limit alarm, any suggestions please
Ah I’ve heard of these on new cars
It’s either too left or too right of the Sat nav, it’s like a speed limit symbol with a speaker I think.
Are soft-close doors new to MB? i have them on my old 2015 BMW 550i (US).
Thanks
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
It might be available in other countries…it varies a lot round the world
@@npoleary Thanks!
As in the video about the new GLB, you forgot to mention the new style of the tail lights.
I did actually record that bit but I chose to omit it among a few other things as the video length was getting quite long.
But I could keep it in for future if you like!
@@npoleary Yes, because it's one of the most noticeable part of the mid-term facelifting.
Oh how strange! Well thanks for watching anyway! 🤓
Is the X5 what you have now I’m guessing? How are you finding it?
@@npoleary love the X5. Third one I’ve had. Never leaving again
Aiming to do some more BMW content in the future for owners and potential buyers!
Did you see the self parking comparison I did between BMW and Mercedes?
I can’t go back to being without a large touchscreen.
You’ll have to ask them 👍🏼
I was hoping for a new GLE coupe in 2024 before I upgraded.
GLE Coupe has also had an upgrade to the facelift too! Sadly didn’t have access to that one at the time of recording
I’d love to though!
For the 2020's Mercedes Benz models speedometers gauges changed to that screen this is the way to go Mercedes Benz vechiles must have 4 pointed star .
Would you please review the 2024 GLS 450? I am in the US and recently bought one; I would like to know more about my car 😁

@@npoleary Thanks Nick.
Hi does the hight switch actually do anything on my gle53 I push it forward and pull back and nothing happens
In the boot? It just raises or lowers the back suspension to help getting things in and out 😎
In case you’ve got something heavy or something
@@npoleary no the one in between the seats
@@npoleary it’s the elongated rocker switch in between the seats. I was trying to get my elderly mother in and I thought if I push it forward, the car would lower so she could get in easier as it was in comfort mode, which I presume is mid range on the suspension height, so I wanted to lower it.
Oh I see that one 😎
So many buttons!
So I found that switch will do:
0 = Normal
+1 = Raised
But to get to -1 height…press Home, Settings, Quick Access and look for the picture of the symbol with a person getting in the car, that’s the one to lower further
@@npoleary thanks Nick. Keep up the great videos I watch all of them and look forward especially to videos in top of the range mercs
It’s a shame that no customisation is offered in the UK, aside from paint and seat colour. Is a 2.0-litre engine adequate for such a large vehicle?
Well there are the Premium & Premium Plus Packages. They offer all of the gadgets 😎
Yes surprisingly!
According to their eBrochure it’s for cars made March / April onwards, so if you chat with a dealer there may be still some in stock.

there is a diesel-hybrid available in germany!
Ah interesting! 🤨
Oh really have you spoken to Mercedes about it? I don’t mean just the booking it in but about changing it for another?
Real answer about mbux 2 or ntg 7 about small display and return of the button is that is the best way, more safe and more comfortable against the bis display like big tablet, that is very unsafe and very uncomfortable!!!!
