I grew up in the 60's, feeling like an outsider to a community of people that I admired but would never dare to approach. They were just too cool.
I did not really understand history and racism. I did not know about the survival bonding that brought people together and strengthened communities. And i had no idea about the amazing work being done within those communities of color. I was unaware, but i could feel the energy and strength.
I do so appreciate these lessons in black history. So many wonderful achievements in our American way of life come from places of suffering. Thank you for sharing.

The 60s was our greatest era. we almost brought the government to its knees. We had black panthers, black liberation, Army weather, underground, Kwame ture Angela Davis . Black guerrilla Family Ect

United we stand, divided we fall! It would be great if Black folks would stick together and build a solid foundation for ourselves instead of just thinking of ourselves or trying to keep up with rap videos and the Joneses, what does a flashy car do for you!?! Nothing but give you a bigger car note, we need to have mentors and folks from our community who have "Made It" pass on the wisdom so that history does not repeat itself on Us!!!❤👊💪

We need land reparations. We should be given all of Virginia, NC, SC, and Coastal Georgia. It should be called "New Israel" and our Capital New Jerusalem and all of FBAs should convert to Judaism and if any non-FBAs want to live amongst us, will become indentured servants and a permanent working class.
