Manchester United’s final match before Christmas ended in a disappointing Premier League defeat to Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
A Dean Huijsen header gave the Cherries a first-half lead, which was added to by Justin Kluivert’s penalty and Antoine Semenyo’s finish in a three-minute spell during the second period.
With the quick turnaround in mind, Ruben Amorim shuffled his pack again following Thursday night’s Carabao Cup quarter-final defeat at Tottenham by making six changes as Andre Onana, Harry Maguire, Tyrell Malacia, Kobbie Mainoo, Amad and Joshua Zirkzee were restored to the line-up.
Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth arrived in M16 having won their previous two away games. The visitors made just one change from their 1-1 draw at home to West Ham United on Monday night as Tyler Adams came into midfield for Lewis Cook, who dropped to the bench.

Poor performance defensively.
Set piece, penalty and cut back cross is how Man United conceded.
Going forward though I dont think Man United were that bad. Man United had more shots, more shots on target, higher xG too.
We are going to struggle to finish in the top half of the league 🙁

Bruno Fernandes needs to be sold! He is so inconsistent. Odegaard is not better than Fernandes but at least he is consistent week in and week out. This squad needs a massive clear out and to be bottom half of the table at this stage is a joke. Dalot should be sold too, we need a massive clear out
