The PM, who has doubled own on his speeches today targeted the Congress again for Rahul Gandhi's comments that a financial survey would be done if teh Congress won to make sure that every community got its due. He also targeted Gandhi family associate Sam Pitroda for his remarks on Inheritance Tax.

There has got to be a better narrative/ideology by the opposition than what we are being presented with by the Gandhi family.
Whether one is supporting BJP or not, we need to have an opposition that has a clear narrative/ideology.
A strong opposition is good for the BJP as it will only raise the bar with respect to what issues are being discussed - issues such as unemployment, inflation. With a government that is incumbent after ruling for ten years, a stronger opposition would have been able to channelise far better discourse than is currently being presented.
What enrages me is how the Gandhi family has systematically demolished a worthy alternative. We cannot blame the BJP for this.
Having no checks and balances is the actual murdering of democracy. A stronger opposition could have provided these checks and balances.

BJP needs to have better counter arguments about wealth redistribution. Congress & Raga are going to use this rich vs poor narrative next 5 years as well and might finally find some traction if BJP doesn't get its story right.
The first question should have been for the speakers that have they read the congress manifesto? Too much of nonsensical discussion, in my point of view. When large uneducated population vote, leaders have the responsibility to give them assurance of what they will provide, not stupid hindu/muslim/fake distribution of wealth. The pity is that only 6% people in India pay income tax and rest are making both ends meet, just middle class or lower.
