Been a fan since i was a kid of all the comedians i have watched over the years christopher titus has been the most consistent most current and most hilarious person to do this if the history he has shared with us with his stand up and his tv show is true you can definitely bet this man turned tragedy into success or in the case of this ep. Failure into success and he did it his way i dont know what his secret is but at age 37 "IM TOO OLD TO LEARRRRRRRN!!!!" Lol thank you Titus for sharing your story and letting us laugh at your expense you are truly alot stronger than most of us
basically...my favorite tv show....and this is my favorite episode....too bad it was cancelled...sometimes, it's hard to admit shows like this are more like our lives than we'd care to admit.
@TheOriginalUserName9 Because Fox wanted Titus and Erin to break up because Darma and Greg did it and they had higher ratings, and Chris Titus didn't wanna copy them. I will always respect Christopher Titus for that. He risked his show cause he didn't want to sell out.
This is the best Ken episode in my opinion. They always show him being a hard ass but just like a real dad he helps his son help himself. Titus is crashing and even though its in the form of an insult Ken says exactly what his son needs to hear. My dad is just like that, I hated him as a kid now that I'm older, have a job, a kid of my own, and I'm not a mess like some of my friends I get that he was a pain in my ass to make sure I didnt fail as soon as I got out of highschool.
no, chris called the producers stupid, because they were changing to much, and he wanted to keep it as real as possible... and when something he didn't like happened during a take, he would critisize it, say we don't do crap, and have the take done over. but ya, the show was briliant... but the third season got a lot darker, that's one main reason for the cancelation
omg....favorite parts.... "dad dad dad dad dad dad dad dad..." "they now gross three billion dollars a year..." "woah...that's a great story dada!" "I liked you better when you had hope" "no you didn't" "...YES I DID" "aaah! shield!!!!"
I loved it too. To answer your question, it was cancelled because (a) Fox got so many complaints from viewers about the show's more controversial elements, and (b) Chris hated the show's executive producers and called them stupid on a regular basis, which isn't the best way to keep your job.
Seems to me he knew these customers on a name basis meaning they are regulars... if I was a customer of a mechanic, detailer, etc. I would base my business choices by the work they have done in the past, not what is in some magazine (or website nowadays).
I love how original shows like this, and arrested development, dont last.....why? because everyone wants to see "so you think your goldfish has talent"
well @TheOriginalUserName9, that's simple. Fox was being a dick. He didn't want to change the show. Fox got butthurt and change the time the show aired and he lost about a million dollars because of it got divorced, and became one of the funniest stand up comics I have ever seen. He sayed on one of his shows that if anyone should ever feel bad about them selves for doing something stupid. well, it would be him. Still love him though.

"Once upon a time, your dog got hit by a truck this morning."
Any show with a line like that should run for 40 seasons and win ten billion Emmys.
"You're not an alcoholic, you haven't earned it" lmfao
Man, Titus is my life. They do not show it here in Brazil anymore so, thank you very much.
"Dad please tell me you not here to give me the money"
"I'm not here to give you the Money"
"That's my Daddy!!" lmfao I Love that line xDDDD

I love how original shows like this, and arrested development, dont last.....why? because everyone wants to see "so you think your goldfish has talent"
He looks a lot like Jim Carrey playing fire Marshal Bill from the In Living Colour days!
"so busy i had to buy a gaurd dog!"
I don't get the dad's story in the end. What was the point of it?
you know I liked you better when you had hope...
No you didn't
My dad was positive that I wouldnt amount to anything :(
this episode is kinda like "the simpsons roasting on an open fire"
That is both the best and worst episode ending in the history of television.

Fox was being a dick.
He didn't want to change the show.
