And it might be spread in prisons, but again, MOST people spreading it are NOT in prison.
Believing these kinds of things is why the Black community suffers with this so much. There’s no “they,” when it comes to HIV. Too many think they’re safe because they aren’t gay or haven’t been to prison. That’s not how sex networks work. Maybe YOU aren’t gay or haven’t been to prison, but you might be having sex with a woman who’s been with men in prison or a man that’s sleeping with men in a highly risky way. We’re far more connected than we like to think.
