Kings, thank you fore your comment
Emma sings here at the Grebbeberg cemetery in memory of the WWII commemoration of the dead.
She has also sung at the military cemetery in Margraten in the south of the Netherlands.
There is an American cemetery there with 8,000 American soldiers who died in WWII.
She sings Father and Hero there.

I absolutely adore your Emma reactions. Thank you.
This was another song in the series of performances around, education, liberation, commemoration and freedom that Emma has supported for the last 2 years. This performed at a church in Rhenen near the memorial site of the WWII Battle of Grebbeberg where approximately 800 lives were lost over 3 days in May 1940.
Interesting fact: Emma’s commitment to singing here, whilst of great national importance was for a relatively modest audience to what she is becoming used to was on 14th May. It meant she was straight onto a plane to London because on 15th May she sang to a sell out 12500 seat Wembley Arena with Andre Rieu.

A very recent new version of ‘Father' sung in The Hague at a memorial concert on 8th May 2024. It’s powerful and emotional..... It's totally off the charts to be honest. Incredible!

'When You Believe' (A Whitney Houston / Mariah Carey cover) sung at the Freedom Concert in Amsterdam 5th May 2024; Emma is 16 here singing with April Darby. This was performed with the King and Queen of the Netherlands and Prime Minister and other dignitaries in the audience.

If you want a real Emma treat....This was only Emma's 2nd serious performance. It was a socially distanced and streamed concert organised by her 17 year old brother for the benefit of musicians and artists impacted by Covid back in 2020. Here Emma is introduced at time stamp 57:28, the video is the whole concert but the link should take you to the right place; a lovely moment with her father adjusting her microphone stand follows before she begins to sing 'Opportunity' by Sia then at 58:28. In my opinion I don't think it is possible to find a more competent or more moving performance by a 12 year old.

P.S. at 1:33:05, you can see Emma playing violin, also her brother Enzo (17) on violin, with her sister Sophie (15) singing.

Emma is such a wonderful young lady. I have watched her grow from Voice Kids to now. There used to be a transformation 1-16 UA-cam post showing photos from a baby to now. In there there are photos of her in a hospital bed after procedures. God I love this warrior.❤️

Good to see you again my friend. Long-time no see. As you have just seen, Emma is growing up quickly, and so are her performances. Though small in physical stature, her voice, and the power with which she wields it, has gained tremendous strength and resonance.
This was one of a number of performances by Emma from last May that were part of the Dutch Liberation Day celebrations commemorating the end of WWII and the German occupation.
In another of these performances, which took place on May 5th, Emma performed a duet of 'When You Believe' with April Darby in Amsterdam at the most opulent venue I have ever seen. On a stage built over the Amstel River, in a night time concert, these two artists turned-in an incredibly powerful performance for the King and Queen of the Netherlands, and the entire Dutch nation. It was sublimely beautiful. A video of the performance is on UA-cam if you care to check it out.
Emma is now firmly ensconced as a Dutch National Treasure. She has become the 'go-to girl' for these kinds of national events and remembrances. As such, she has become intimately associated with the Dutch national consciousness and spirit.
Thank you for reacting to this performance of 'You Raise Me Up'.
    Well done. All the best.

@@Herka5420 Thank you for the clarification Herka5420. I always try to be as accurate in my statements as possible, but, alas, I do make mistakes from time to time. My apologies to anyone who may have been offended by my inaccuracy. All the best to you.
May I ask you you a question? My statements about Emma's status in the Dutch national conscious are based, first on the fact that she has repeatedly been invited to perform at these events, and second on my interactions with Dutch people that I know. Am I being accurate in this respect?

@@exeter1588 Helemaal correct.
