I spent maybe 24 hours reseting new battery in all possible scenarios. Drivers, reset button, unplug, nothing worked. IT WAS THE FKING SWITCH! Acer M3-581TG. Actually there is no switch but the cover that covers area for HDD, RAM etc. has a little touch point that works as a safety switch when screwed back together. You are a gigachad

oh it was a good idea to check the inside. After all youtube tutorials I couldnt find the solution. So after giving it to fix my laptops fan I had this problem. I couldnt start laptop without plugging it in. When I checked inside I found that the battery wasnt connected to the laptop!
It was indeed that little trigger thing at the end, my Acer has that for the RAM chip cover, go figure hahah, thanks so much you the video you legend!

@@Parag-k1p replace the battery. Then clean the internals of the laptop. Remove the build up dirts in fans and exhaust; and replace thermal pastes

This video really helped the problem that I have encountered which is literally the same...
As I upgraded my RAM took it to a shop to do it(still not confident in disassembling motherboards on laptop to expose the extra ram slot)
After the install, won't turn on after the upgrade....worker then said you need a new battery....
Look for videos and WOW a very simple problem. I have a Asus x540la near the battery there's a screw that can help disconnecting it(same as the video but not a switch instead a screw to connect two terminals to avoid shortcircuit on repairs) this is just to inform Asus users:D

It depends. Usually its common on intel 5th gen - 7th gen. Try to check the screws. It happens when you missed out some screws

I was reading all the comments and if you don’t have the sensor button you need to find a screw of the battery, is that correct ? Question, do you know how to identify that screw? My laptop is asus rog z13 flow and I have the same problem
I could not give you specific since i dont have the unit to try. but you can try placing screws on all places of the laptop that has screwholes with contact points/ground.

I once replaced a vivobook hdd to ssd and i see no sensor. It may vary with vivobooks model(not quite sure though) You may also check the battery and/or battery connection if you are encountering the same problem.

Thats an interesting issue. Are you using the original charger/power supply it comes with? If not, try other chargers. Might be a wrong polarity of the wires. You can also try to remove the battery or replace the battery.

Nice vid sir, nalaman ko na issue is yung sa sensor. May solution po ba para mafit yung cover don sa sensor. Pag nagalaw kasi yung laptop ko sir namamatay kusa, di kasi yata masyado fit yung cover nung akin kahit nakasagad na ng todo yung screws.

I also have an hp laptop where you need to remove all the screw below, the keyboard on top then screws. Then remove the cd rom and the screws below it and then some hidden screws. I f*ng hate that thing.

Looks like you shorted the board. If that happens, you either find a good technician or replace the board.
It should be noted that board repairs always cost as much as new/second hand motherboard.

Galing mo idol! First time ko mag DIY dagdag ng SSD sa Asus Vivobook ko. Sabi ko testingin ko muna bago ko ilapat ng todo at i-fix ng screw. Halos 3 hours din akong namroblema dahil ayaw bumukas ng hindi nakasaksak.
Wala akong nakitang sensor pero nilapat ko na lang din at iniscrew. Ayun gumana!
