Just like you said, I also didn't know about the DEF filter. the more of these videos I see the more I'm becoming a mechanic. I just change out the air dryer filter and fix all air leaks with a spray bottle and a few fittings saving me $1000's
Small tips save big money. Good info fam. #Levelup ✊🏿

Useful video, I had same problem just changed filter myself but My truck didnt derate just the code and the check lights…. How long did it for the lights to go away after changing filter? Thanks
I’m glad the video was very helpful to you and I definitely appreciate you 💪🏾💯…and it took about 2-3 days before the light went out
@@thelifeofmerckid 👍🏽👊🏽
FYI. It takes a 1 13/16 socket. Thanks
Definitely appreciate you 💪🏾💯
How long do it take for the lights go off
No lubricant which is in the box at all ?
Good lookin on the info and also do you have sensor problems or def/dpf and emissions problems often? Looking to purchase a 2017 cascadia this weekend
Naw I only had this problem twice because the shop didn’t fix it the correct way the first time so it ended up happening again about 2-3 months later…but haven’t had any issues other then that

Each one, teach one.
That’s the main goal right there 💯💪🏾
Did it just go out of the derate once you changed the filter? I changed it but still blinking def light and in derate
I believe it took a little while and then it went away
Gd
You didn't spray the gasket
I did but just not in the video
Can u please tell me what is the part number or name
So far that is the worst example of how to change it I have seen . Using a pair of pliers where a socket should be used that's an absolute no and then not using the lubricant or at least not showing using a lubricant and inappropriate places that's an absolute fail and not showing the whole process like putting the rubber booty on there dawn that is an absolute fail again yeah thanks for trying but this is horrible people are gonna screw their shit up following these directions
Thanks for watching the video 💪🏾💯
Why don't you show the correct way?
