Great review!! 👍I have had one for about a year now. Any idea how you use the calendar?? Mine is set on 2015 but i have no clue how to reset it.
very informative thank you. Is there any chance that you could find out if there is a way of adding extra playlists, other than the three provided.
Very helpful video especially around creating playlists. What I find frustrating about this device is that, not all, but too many albums that I transfer to it are shown as "Unknown Album" when the folder has a simple title.
Good review mate. I've been looking for a replacement after my Sony Walkman was damaged. I just ordered this, I'm hoping for the best!

Nice review, Steve! Can anyone tell me how to shut off the Shuffle feature? I spent SO much time setting up folders with songs in the exact order I wanted - and the player keeps shuffling them! HELP! LOL!! Thanks!

Hey nice review, have you figured out a way that you can scroll through songs faster instead of constantly clicking?
This is driving me nuts as I have about 300 artists and when I'm in the mood to listen to an artist at the lower end of the alphabet it gets tiresome clicking all the time. Help would be amazing ?

Hey, I got an agptek mp3 player a few months ago, it worked perfectly before, but for some reason when I connect it to my computer now it doesn't show me the option to connect and transfer and so I am now unable to download more music onto it. Sorry, do you know how I can fix this problem? Thanks

I was very happy with it. But all of sudden the volume is off, and it has gone silent. The screen goes ok, but no sound, and I don't know how to get it back. Can it be a battery problem. The volume doesn't work. Help!, please.

how about the volume? I need it for a Fm transmitter... I'm curious cause I've tried one from Argos, Alba one, and the maximum volume was rubbish... you could barely hear anything through the transmitter. If it's used with earphones the volume is decent, but not for a transmitter.
+my great question! The audio output would be quite low using it with a device like that i have used such a device in the car and have to turn the radio volume up quite alot.
However i found using a small audio amplifier from maplin electronics helped alot.

So you could not record an interview from a table for example. But good quality upto about 2 feet away

When you turn it off, will it start from the beginning or from where you left off? I need this to listen to lectures for school, and dont want to have to fast forward or rewind to find where i left off on a 2+ hour long lecture
+Jordan Blevins hi there.. if you turn the unit off while playing it will start from the same song again. If you stop the song or pause then it will carry on from that song as well

how do you remove the sd card from the a02?
Are you able to disable the radio feature on the agptek a02?
+Tiffany Lawrence hi there.. your not able to disable it as it is a me u option. However you need the head phones in to enable it as it uses the cable as the antenna. So you would not be able to use the radio if you had speakers plugged in for example. Hope that helps
My AGPTeck A02 is not recognized by my 2011 Honda Pilot when I use the micro usb cable. Any ideas?

My iPod Nano 5th Generation went through the wash that I've had for about 5 to 6 years. Do you feel this would be a good replacement for what I've previously used?
+Sleven 007 its just a bid standard cheap n cheerful mp3 player.. without the hassell of itunes lol
This device is 100% worth it (the a02.) I have had it in my possession for around 3 months now, & all I can say is I am 99.9% satisfied with it's performance. Battery life is extremely great. Menu navigation is extremely simple & easy to get used to after tinkering around with the device for abit. Sound quality is fairly great.
I highly recommend that you purchase this device, if you haven't already done that. :).
I actually just ordered the upgraded version (the a20.) I will be sure to keep you all updated with my experience with the new device that I should be receiving tomorrow sometime.

I got the chinese version x02 and updated the firmware to agp's 1.7 and I didn't like it, now i cant downgrade or find the original firmware V1.101.10, guess I f#@%$# it up

If I copy my music to this in folders will those folders show on the mp3 or will it just show the songs only in alphabetical order every time?

george botanos I had the new one and yes it had folders. It wasn't in the regular music folder. I forget the name of the option you click on. I would look at it, but unfortunately it got destroyed in the rain.

you have to download the music as .mp3 on your computer then transfer it from your computer to the mp3 player using a cable. You can't download music directly on the device, if you could this would be way more expensive.

Kodyan Charge it, that's what mine does sometimes. It goes to the charging screen, unplug it and it's like it never happened

My AGPtek only has 3 playlists. As I will be using it for audiobooks, I want to add multiple playlists, one for each book. How do I add a playlist then add the tracks (from each audio CD) into the correct playlist? PLus how do I make these the correct format, nothing is working on mine. It says file format not supported.

I think I have solved it. I created new folders in the pop up window when it shows the player as a stick drive in my case the G: drive. Then when I updated card info, they now show up as folders in the player. But now how do I use my windows media player to add the tracks (songs) to each of these new folders.

I always had issues with playlist creation/sync function in Windows Media player. On AGPtek troublshooting www.agptek.com/Help-Troubleshooting.html I see question 60 says this:
60.Q:How do I get a playlist to work from a memory card?
A:Please kindly note that you can create you plalist in memory card, and make sure that the .M3U file and your music files must be in the same folder.
Also they explain here to use Media Monkey to create .m3u playlist files with Windows. Scroll down to question 19: www.agptek.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=856335.
What I decipher from this broken English is that if you use Media Monkey to create m3u playlists on a Windows computer and make sure that all mp3 files are in the same folder as the m3u playlist file it should work.

No it doesn't come with one, you can use one on the slot on the side

Hey. Try to play songs by album. Guess what. This player groups albums by only the first 8 characters and not the whole album title! This player thinks that "The Greatest Hits of The Beatles" and "The Greatest Hits of STYX" are the same album and will lump all of the songs from both of those albums together!! Had to return mine.
