I've been looking on youtube for years to find someone who would do one of these builds. There are others out there who have had boat builds, but none with this level of detail. I'm wanting to build a custom crappie rig exactly how I want it and do it myself. This series has been a great learning experience. I particularly liked how you used the laser in one of your earlier videos to line up the sheets into the deadrise you wanted, kinda move the whole sheet and let the laser tell you where the cut line goes. I'm looking forward to following the rest of your videos. One request if you don't mind, could you do a thorough wrap up video at the end of the series with costs and things you'd do different? Thanks for all the effort putting this series together!
i cried when you put screws in the deck in the last video. now you have a all welded deck plus lots of holes bc the screws will at one point come lose and leak. i would have kept going with your first idea with the cross shape holes and weld them in .
Hello, I am wondering if you had used the heat warp of aluminum in your favor by welding the locker front to the 10" top first if it would have bowed the top to fit your midship flare without any additional piece in the back? Still came out nice just may ways to skin a cat. Very nice job. Never any waste with aluminum as you'll always be building projects that use it! Take care. Doug
Stu boats looking good , gotta slight problem in the Blue Ridge Mountains NC. We have a Mountain Lion up here any idea how to trap this thing. It's freaking huge. Trap size and type of anchor would be helpful. 👍
Do you think that you could have welded a piece of angle to the inboard side of the catwalk and to make it bend with the heat like it worked out on your gunnel or is it too wide?
How can we contact u I message u on facebook but wasn't sure I'm a greenhorn starting out and had some question for u ,most of them have been awnserd from your videos and thank u for that but if u could contact me I would really appreciate that
Might look at monstaliner for the deck coating. Only one I've found that claims to be UV stable. Can be rolled or sprayed with a shutz gun. www.monstaliner.com
I'm trying, I'm really trying.....I want to watch but half your videos are talking about what you are going to do. Shut up. Film what you build and stop telling us what you're going to do.......just DO!
Barring a wreck, your great great great grandchildren will be fishing from your boat. WELL DONE, sir WELL DONE!!

I doubt it. To much material
Have questions about best way to dispatch trapped animals as far as to prevent damage to fur.
Cool.
You done doing trapping videos?
Your ship needs one more thing. A cannon. A cannon and nothing else!!
Cannons are extremely useful, I can't believe so few people have them on their fishing boat...
