Really hope there is a dynamic weather system like in Yukon. It was showed snowing in the trailer twice, but the community managers didn’t really know.
There has to be because on the trailer it was snowing with snow on the ground but on the stream there was no part of the map that had full snow cover

Hey Flinter, just want to let you know Snow Leopards are named on the steam page, so its confirmed we will have both snow Leopards and Tigers on one map
I think those Tibetan foxes are one of the most accurate species they've ever designed XD

Some people are theorizing that the Tahr GO is a mission reward like the SR brown bear or mocha moose. Not sure if I believe that but it’s definitely a possibility.

I don’t think that tahr are the next great one because and hear me out Jaxy at one point in the stream talks about the tahr and how their nickname in the region is the great one tahr meaning that the photo could be referring to them by that nickname and not as the next great one
I see what you mean but the "great one" has been there thing for 4+ years. I doubt they're gonna slap that title on a common animal

I posted on their trailer post on facebook. There better be a Lion, Tiger and Bear Oh My multi-mount. I think that would be an amazing multi mount for the lodge.
tbf aswell the same gose to the wolfs in spain and the saltys both are protected so i find it funny that people are mad about the tigers and snow lepords
Several of the screenshots (such as the one on Steam with Yak running) as well as videos show both falling snow and snowy environment. I can’t see how that wouldn’t be dynamic weather.
I hope the last new species is something left field no one thought of.
I know their both based on Nepal but the map kinda looks like Kyrat from Farcy 4 which is very exciting
The Hunter COTW did a brilliant job with this reveal. They gave just enough information to confirm what's coming while leaving a good bit of room for speculation and excitement to build over the mysteries that exist within Sundarpatan. They have, who I consider to be, their #1 content creator in Flinter sounding so happy and excited throughout the entire video he made about it. This dev team really does care about the community and it's incredibly refreshing to see. Excited for the future of COTW.
Is anyone else getting major nostalgia for Kyrat in far cry 4 looking at this map?
If those are Greylag geese instead of a new bird, then I'm hoping for sloth bears for the final new species

I'm so excited for this, I really hope both the big cats are in it, certainly be a little misleading to post that snow pic, and I really think this tops Emerald coast, but the Tigers and leopards are gonna look so misplaced in the lodge 😂

I started playing after srp came out so I didn’t get to be a part of the hype of the map release,it’s my favorite map cause it’s the closest representation of where I live,however this map is probably the most hype I’ve been for a new map,lot of cool new species and 2/3 older species are getting a model update,cannot wait for next weeks stream
Also think the last species we don’t know is gonna be another bird or small game animal,although I was hoping Siberian ibex were going to be on this map,I don’t care for any of the other ibex currently in the game but the Siberian ibex would’ve been cool
Actually i think this map would be one of the last maps that we can get in COTW. If we look at map we can see not so many empty places in the world. North America is almost full of reserves but i will pray for Canada reserve with polar bears, polar wolfs, musk ox, arctic fox, arctic partridge and etc, also we have emty place in the north africa and get it in future would be really sweet. Last one reserve that we need in my opinion is the Сaucasus, Russia with leopards and a lot of other interesting animals including the stunning landscape.
The Sheep you mentioned actually might be a Bharal. After looking up fauna of Nepal I found that
I love watching Flinter's video all the time. But I'm less then happy with the great one knowing it's a Tahr. I thought it be a swamp deer, yak, water buffalo, or a tapir maybe.
I think the final species is either axis or sambar deer. The deer roster wouldn't really feel complete without them I reckon.
Himalayan ibex would be cool ir the spiral horn as well
Markhor I was really hoping for, but the double cat and nialgi are good consolation prizes as well 😂
Again imagine the rare fur types for the tigers! 🤩 A albino tiger is now my absolute main focus

I'm thinking that unnamed species must be up in the alpine area cause they kept getting real nervous when they were too close to the ground up there.
For all the species on the map it’s a great list I would like to see Sloth bears on the map since that’s a bear species you can hunt in Asia

There doesnt appear to be a bunch of water on this map. With that said i wonder if this map will change how people play this map. Like instead of only checking drink zones like most people do im curious to see if we will see more people hunting in the hills and mountains for rest and eating zones vs only drink zones
As an experienced stalker, I'm very happy about this landscape.
Kinda disappointed with a g1 tahr however I think it will be really cool (I wanted a g1 predator)

What was the new icon on the map that was over Jaxy's shoulder? There was 3 total on the southern part of the map.

The biggest thing- it’s a game. If someone is that hurt by hunting a protected species in a game they should not play the game. I really hope they open this up more to give us a better hunt experience. Could even do darting missions for a conservation story line. And that damn yeti better come strollin through at some point.
I'm pretty sure Jaxy said during the stream that Blackbuck are on the map when he mentioned revealing species next week. Said something about people piecing together what's been hinted at already "plus the two remastered species mentioned."

@@theballpythonproject6598 a snow leopard, on average, is three times larger than a Lynx and almost half the size of a puma/mountain lion. It should sit in between them at class 4.

I think the new great one is good based on the photo. I always thought those fallow deer antlers and moose are just too much fantasy. What you guys expected a goat great one to look like? Like Tyranosaurus Rex with rainbow skin?

@@goldie3004 cause they were originally going to put them on Te Awrrowa but their engine couldn’t support it so they didn’t. Now that they are coming to the game and their the new Great One I would think they would add them.

I hate the whole endangered species argument. I do not care if an animal is endangered or not, I flat out do not care. It's a video game. I want to hunt tigers, elephants, rhinos, even dodos. It's a video game not real life.

But as someone who loves this games this is a fun way to just view them do natural things from time to time. Its amazing.

Recheck your facts people gray wolves are endangered and falsely removed from the endangered list and been in a struggle and been over-hunted for the past 5 years. While theres plenty in canada, the US is looking at them to becoming instantly extinct. They even been shot for having no proof of attacking any livestock only done on sight.
Iberian wolves ARE endangered and threaten for extinction in spain and italy.

But the audacity of focus, that never wolves had a sense of comsideration and conservation fought hard to protect them only for their hardwork to be killed cause the US says to hunt them, even for farmers to shoot on sight when they posed no threats or care to their livestock is whats vile.
Im only stating facts.

the only thing that will get me excited about this map is if they have Indian elephants to hunt for. as for the rifle I'm gassing another 7-9 or just a class 9. all and all I'm not hyped for it at all.

We want games to do things we can't do irl. If the game is an irl simulator and no hunting this and that because whatever.. pass. Let us do what we can't do irl. We legally can't herd wipe irl, but that's how the game is played by EVERYONE. Open season all the time, no bag limit on any animals? Where is that real?
Some countries in europe ban military cartridges. Like.. .223, .308, 30-06, .300 win mag, 338 lapua.. this is not reflected in the game because that limitation would be ridiculous and suck. Also in europe and canada, do they allow semi auto? Or handguns? Removing that from some maps would suck.
EW, get off your high horse and stop virtue signalling. You're inconsistent anyway and it's just obnoxious at this point. Give us anything and everything. It's an open world "big buck hunter" arcade game where the goal is to stack bodies sorting through random spawns looking for the cool ones.

Its going to be a terrible map and terrible wildlife…….africa 2.0 with new species leopard hyenas and elephants would of been much much better being from england ive always wanted a england too including all the deer species reds roe fallow sika cwd and muntjacs with foxes rabbits ducks and every maybe pigeons and crows which you can decoy like ducks 👌👌👌👌
