I was in extreme pain after I was struck from behind while I was training on my bicycle. That was 1976. I had three broken vertebrae, a broken leg, broken shoulder etc., and the nights were so long. I never ever took pain killers. I was just laying there in the reclining lounge, it was midnight and all that I could do was to worship my Lord God and thank Him that I was still alive. The Holy Spirit (God's Holy Breath of Power) came upon me powerfully with the words in Jeremiah, 'after the night the morning comes'. I called out and said, "Yes Lord". The Lord God Almighty is a healing God. The Lord Jesus the Christ Suffered for my infirmities, He SHED His BLOOD on the Wooden CROSS and He died for me and He paid for my sins. I am going to heaven because somebody else (the Lord Jesus the Christ) paid for my 'ticket' into heaven. Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia to the Lamb of God. The Lord Jesus the Christ is my Redeemer, He is my Healer and it is He who BAPTISES me in the Holy Spirit of the Father (God's Holy Breath of Power).

I started to take the pain killer. Then my mother said "tell Jesus" i did and i slept like a baby that night after me and mama prayed. Yes he is still in the healing business. This song hits home so hard , the words "sometimes I'm despised and rejected " that's what I've dealt with for many years with my christian family and children. But I carry that cross daily and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ that he see me through every time I go through a trial with them -Especially when I was accused of killing my mother as she lay in the hospital with COVID . I've given them all to God ,it's not my fight to deal with ..I pray that someday when my life ends that I will see my mother and child sitting underneath that Evergreen tree waiting for me with a smile!
