That wire is a ground wire. Keeps the electricity flowing through the vehicle and not you.
Can i program a replacement pcm with it
Not if it’s an OEM pcm. You’ll have to send it someone to get unlocked which will void your warranty. Or just buy one that’s already unlocked 🔓.
So this can only work with the 2022 and above models?

All this does is remove the governor for the most part. My top speed as of now is 141, but I have some aftermarket parts in my vehicle. Probably not the best investment for a v6 although it should work fine.
