It's odd how when we talk about those of us from the "west", moving to countries in the "east" we describe ourselves as "expats", but when it's the other way around we use the term "migrant worker".

That's a great tip. I never counted on getting my salary on time so always held some money back just in case! I hear there's a great quality of life in Saudi Arabia!
Add this that utilities are same for all people inside Saudi Arabia including water & electricity ,,, the only thing that residency permit is increased as well as VAT
@@AimeeRebeccaborn in 1998, and lived in Saudi Arabia since August 25 1999 (according to my first ever passport), when I first came, it has been invaded by extremism/religious fanatic ism, followed by masculistic/mysoginistic environment, until 2018, the religious fanaticisim has partially faded away, since it went back to the social root of 1970s, where cinemas are common, female right are moderate....
BAHRAINI PEOPLE ARE VERY GOOD AND FRIENDLY .....

Aimee I think you’ll come to Dubai next 😬
I visited Dubai a couple of years ago and I had such a good time!
Aimee Rebecca which do you prefer? We lived in Bahrain for a few years and we’re considering either Dubai as a new adventure or Bahrain because it’s fab. We’re currently in Hong Kong but it’s just not like the Middle East 💕
