i was one of the ones that uninstalled after the "unheard news", i was bored of this wipe anyway...but i forced myself to play new games, completely different genre and im actually having fun, no sweating, no getting annoyed at glitches, sound bugs, cheaters...all little annoyances, but they add up, im a happy gamer thanks to Nakita's BS lol. I hope all you gamers find some relief

I don't think Nikita is a good person, but I also do not think the people that spam him with mundane shit on twitter like "fix server" or "ban cheater" are good people either, usually with a lack of understanding of how shit works.
Especially the people that parrot the Kukri machete was a 5-dollar unity asset flipped for use in the unheard edition, even though that was debunked almost immediately afterward.
Nikita needs to step down.

Because they would be wrapped up in more legality than they prefer with how many things they are getting away with, the 30% cut, and having to actually offer widespread refunds.

Whats more, Steam had? A lot of bugs with EA games. Like you could have 1000+ hours in EA game, but once it was fully released your "timer for refund" got reset and you could refund it without problem.
If i am correct, now it EA games will have their "timer" increased from 2h to 4h. So again, if you have choice you prefer not to release game on steam cause it can get refunded easly.

Dude didn’t even know crab walking existed… it’s been in the game the whole time. He doesn’t care about the game just the money, tarkov’s been in alpha/beta for almost 7 years now and the progress they’ve made is laughable.
I beg to differ. The game has come a long way, I might as well start listing everything changed, added and fixed. One thing that makes me sad tho is that now he's doing his little posts in twitter which only he needs for no apparent reason making it look like nothing is being done, despite arena receiving major updates and tarkov getting a small event before the wipe and all that
Dont get me wrong, I dont trust BSG whatsoever after all the drama. That being said the game has come a LONG way from what it was 7 years ago. The BiS armor back then was fort and a kiver and the UI was complete garbage. Almost all the maps have been expanded by at least 50% and streets is huge (granted laggy af).
@@im_nikkys 7 years for 2 maps one of which everyone hates lighthouse, and a few expansions which didn’t add that much isn’t a long way. Most dev teams can throw up maps in only a couple. If you think they’re spending the money we gave them to help them improve the game you’re dead wrong. They spent it on living luxurious life styles without making sure on their promises and now they’re out of money again asking for more
Don't forget about spending all the funding on UA-cam series and shit just for a one time event rather than just finishing the game.

I understand the connection between the two but you quitting the game isnt a loss for BSG, they already have your money.

I uninstalled Tarkov the day after the Unhinged Edition dropped. I've been a supporter and EOD owner since early 2018. In all honesty, ABI has been refreshing for a filthy casual like myself. In the meantime though, I always end up going back to Rust XD
Tarkov ruined rust for me, I hate the idea of losing stuff while sleeping. Rust is so fun tho…

Can Nikita really not think drip feed updates looks like the studios is doing essentially zero fucking work at all? I get that making a game is hard but it literally takes 4 months or more to add 3 guns and maybe a new map if we are lucky to the game. Meanwhile, regardlessif the code is stolen or not it takes 3 years for another team to essentially equal what they have done in 6 years. It's fucking ridiculous.

As much as I would like to be optimistic about Arena Breakout. The truth is that by the time it gets into the hands of the average gamer on mass and not UA-camrs and streamers it will probably be insanely riddled with hackers just like The Cycle Frontier was. Scumbag hackers who haven't paid anything care even less about risking hacking in a game like this. So I'm not getting my hopes up for it. If we think Tarkov's bad for hackers, then just wait and see how quickly they figure out and defeat the anti-cheat in Arena Breakout. Let's hope they do some kind of hardware ban.
If it makes you feel any better about Arena Breakout, with it being owned by Tencent they can actually afford having a decent anti cheat and keep it consistent with code deciphering. A lot of the issues with Tarkov all boil down to laziness and poor code security

Tarkov wipe is always extremely hyped because ask anyone that's played awhile and the first couple months of a wipe is the best time in the game. Which is why I'm glad ABI is around because I can go hardcore on EFT to have my couple months of fun then hop onto ABI which is more chill to play until the next wipe.
When was the last time he even mentioned the road map or anything like that to show any updates at all. Progress updates or anything like that. Not just patch notes or any of he drama farming he has been doing.
the "is it planned for june/july wipe" and he answering "sooner" is a convo of Arena x Tarkov WIP linkage, not about Tarkov wipe, so I think his "start of July" still counts as a probable time where wipe of Tarkov happens but I do believe itll be sooner, the changes they've been doing make it feel like it...

I personally don't have any socials apart from youtube. Its a video game not a job, i shouldn't have to take steps outside of the game to know what is going on. All my game updates/news comes from the launcher or youtube drama videos. Owned tarkov since 2018 under the impression that what was in the game at the time was just side quests and background stuff (pretty sure Nikita said that himself), now were getting close to release and still pretty much everything is exactly the same difference being tuning, hopes are not high at this point. Makes me sad because the game itself plays better than i feel it ever has

I paid for the game, i will probably play it at wipe but I am also over it too. The exodus from the game draws a clear picture of the communities frustrations. Only way back would be to apologize about the DLC crap and to actually do something about the cheaters. The drop off due to cheaters is huge and it might draw the community back. But then again, nobody is as smart as Nikita and no one will ever be in his brain.

Tarkov didn’t have competition for last 8 years. Now games are popping out like mushrooms. For him it is unusual situation so he is panicking and shitting his pants. On top of this he boxed himself into a corner with unheard edition leading to „Tarkov drama”.
I would bet a lot of money that wipe will be very soon. Main reason for that is he needs to come up with something new otherwise he will be not able to maintain player base and people start to migrate to other games. Me as example. 4K hours in Tarkov and I’m done. I can’t take this bullshit anymore. I sincerely think that BSG devs are not talented enough to keep up with modern games (gameplay wise, technology wise, QOL wise, etc.) Nikita doesn’t have any idea for endgame and the only thing he can think of is wiping the game every 6 months. That is why tarkov will never be released. Wipes are the only receipt they have for endgame (meaning no endgame).
I’m playing GZW since that launched it. It is so refreshing to see devs communicating with community. I hope they will keep comms on this level.

The flea market will be in the full release, so as of right now, Ragman does some renovations of the flea market so he can´t open up the flea for some months. Furthermore, i want the flea quest locked at level 25+ with 1-2 Ragman quests.
Also.... close the SC in-Raid... you can use it as usual, but you will never put stuff in it. If you find some valuable stuff in a Raid, get it out by your self. Nothing is secure, until you extract.
I think that high of a flea requirement makes the game even harder for new people to get into it and includes even more of a grind than what is necessary. I've been playing a while and have no problem getting to level 25 but people that I've introduced to the game thought level 15 was a bit of a task to get to. Now that they've learned the game they love it and are addicted to it. I can't say they would've ever gave the game a fair chance if the flea cap was at 25

I think he’s shitting himself because there’s competition. The man hasn’t spoken to us about things that’s supposed to happen with the game and are still in the back burner. If release is supposed to be around the corner is open world gonna be shoved back as “DLC” or is it being scrapped? They lost me as a customer and a player. Arena Breakout does what Tarkov won’t and deals with cheaters much faster as well.

he's being transparent because it's beneficial to the dev talking and speaking to the community, which he has.
I don't know if you've played other games for a long period of time before you played Tarkov, but I can speak for everyone that people would KILL for the devs to be as vocal as he has. Whatever ideas you have towards the game or him, it's better for the dev to be responding to hate comments, positive comments and so forth because it's better than being silent.
OW1/2 Devs, WOW devs, CS Devs, games that have died out from not listening or taking feedback in any sort of way. It's a good thing he's around, and hope he sticks around and continues to be vocal online. It's always better than being silent.

As cool as all the competition and stuff has been, tarkov is still the best game in the genre. ABI is just flat out boring. Grayzone was a try not to fall asleep simulator. We already own it anyways, playing it doesn't actually give any more money to BSG and actually probably coasts them money through servers and stuff. It's pretty clear gamers are some of the biggest Karen's around and just want something to whine about. It's layer in the wipe anyways people usually are playing other games at this point regardless of drama so I don't take too seriously the people who say it's forced them to play other games.

Not gonna lie i was gonna get back into tarkov when i can upgrade my ram on my tower but after the $250 thing happened I switched to other games that are similar
