I lost my mother at 17 but Amir, having a terminally ill mother and having to deal with scheduling issues due to the pandemic, faced a totally different set of challenges. I feel for him and I'm happy that his mother was able to see him marry the love of his life. Like many couples, they had to have a small ceremony in 2020 and waited until 2021 to have a larger reception, during which his mother sadly was no longer with us. It was an honor to be trusted to capture these memories for them both.
