It's important to keep in mind, after repotting that you keep the rose well-watered and in a humid environment so that transpiration is slowed and the tree can get super strong in its new pot 😄💖🌳🌹
How many people here are acting like experts saying it's going to die or he destroyed a good plant 😂 I hope they don't ever ask nurseries how they grow so much in so little time.
@@notionbonsai well it should, if you leave it to grow from here at the end of the “grow cycle” it build flower on all the new growth and you can choose ether to dead head them or let them flower!!
I’m reading the comments, giggling so much. You have to give all plants regular haircuts - sometimes down to the “stick” so you get gorgeous healthy growth later. ❤
I don’t think many people understand plant growth or why they grow in certain ways in the first place. I see a lot of people make negative comments on bonsai posts for reducing the plants foliage and restricting growth. One thing I like to remind them is that plants grow big and tall for the sole purpose of being taller than their neighbors so they can reach the light better than their competition but bonsai artists remove that factor from their environment.
@@notionbonsai yep actually bonsai also simply means "plant in vase" but generally people use it to refer to an old piece of living plant art, usually trees as to mimic nature scaping. In any case it's correct ^^
When I grew up I learned that people lie, like a lot, for no reason, go out of their way, spend great efforts to lie. With Bonsai that are in smaller pots they need watered a LOT more often! You can also place your mame bonsai on a tray of soil so that their roots can grow out the bottom of the pots - that way it doesnt need to be watered as much 🤗

@@notionbonsai how will it do well? Roses need A LOT of soil to thrive. I was never able to have nice one's on the balcony. They just almost die but when I re-pot them to my grandma's garden they thrive.
@@sweetLemonist You could say the same about a tree. It’s a bonsai. Small pots are kind of the point. Oh and the smaller it is the less soil it needs. Shocker! But please, continue to look like a fool
I don't mind cutting them off this year to balance the energy of the rose. They will come again next year. However if you want you can put the flowers you cut off in some water to enjoy them and watch them bloom! 😊
This depends! It is a fact that the right substrate can help a bonsai grow quicker, but it is important to note that this is just one factor among many that contribute to the overall health and growth of a Bonsai. The substrate, or soil mix, used for a bonsai should be well-draining, porous, and able to retain moisture and nutrients. This type of substrate allows for proper root development and uptake of water and nutrients, which in turn can lead to faster growth. However, it is important to also consider other factors that can impact bonsai growth, such as proper watering, fertilization, pruning, and exposure to light. Additionally, the species of bonsai, its age, and its overall health can also influence its growth rate. Therefore, while the substrate can certainly play a role in the growth of a bonsai, it is just one piece of a larger puzzle and should be considered in conjunction with other important factors 🤗
