I feel like the music used in APC fits more than the music used in the original show. The soundtrack is nice, sure and they used some tracks in APC, too, but I like it better. It fits more in their actions and what is happening on the screen.
@@godziller9976 I probably didn't think about this. I love the soundtrack in the show and the soundtrack in APC is great, too. Actually, I can't decide now which I like better. They both have some bangers in it.
I just recently rewatched Altruists, dear lord I forgot how abysmal it was. I have a lot of patience with cartoons, usually as long as there’s something moving on-screen, it can at least hold my attention. So it’s astonishing how Altruists managed to bore ME of all people. Onward and Upward is still worse, it was both gross _AND_ boring, but Altruists just wastes so much time with dull shit with the widow and the pricing of the house items, plus 45 seconds of my life being thrown away watching Stimpy climb up a duck pole thing. The episode feels like it’s in slow motion for God’s sake
John k is the only guy on earth who actually BENEFITS from studio meddling. When he has full control he isn’t making a Harry Potter or Star Wars like Lucas and Rowling did with thier unlimited power instead he made crap. Wierd . Also the animation took a HUGE downgrade. Look how desaturated apc’s colors are!
Desaturated? Adult Party Cartoon looks great! Of course, there are animation errors, and the outline and color quality of Big Star isn’t exactly up to snuff with Carbunckle, but still
I dunno, I feel like we may never get backgrounds like the original Ren and Stimpy again. I haven’t seen any shows that can really pull off the style of a hand-painted piece like Ren and Stimpy. The only thing that comes close is modern SpongeBob, and even that can feel a bit too shiny. BUT, the dark, atmospheric backgrounds in Ren Seeks Help make me squee, I love them 😊

I feel the exact opposite but nice profile pic! Both had great tracks.
Nothing can beat March of the Ants, Holiday Playtime, Tom Fool ect. Jack Shaindlin's music is great but it sounds too... old sometimes

That's because they timed the animation to music- in John Kricfalusi's bizarre method.
what home would be complete without mexican elvis
a shitty one, for sure
Mexican Elvis
He still has a bump on stimpys head because Ren beating him up.
probably my favorite in the APC soundtrack, second to Frantic Pursuit
why does ren have panty and stocking legs
Ralph Bakshi in the photo on the right?
The name in the corner of the frame is a reference to storyboard and layout artist Jose Pou, intentionally misspelled.

Good review.
