I noticed one small detail, but did not watch the entire video to see if it was covered later. BACnet over Ethernet is actually different than BACnet over IP. BACnet over Ethernet uses mac addresses and cannot communicate to different subnets. Where BACnet over IP (most common now days) uses IP and is able to communicate to multiple subnets via bbmd. Great to see these videos showing up online, hopefully this helps more folks learn this stuff, such high demand for skilled techs. The money is great but i like my free time too lol.
That was almost like absorber training with the tube bundles 😅! Thanks again for the videos! 🍺🍺🥃🥃🍺🍿🏌🏻♀️🎯 Stay safe. Retired (werk'n)keyboard super tech. Wear your safety glasses!
Great video and thank you for sharing your knowledge. Do you teach a course related to building automation for hvac on your website? Thanks in advance.
There is a module in the Introduction to Chillers course dedicated to DDC control systems. Chiller equipment controls are just scaled down BAS systems. I have ideas on doing a dedicated BAS/Controls course at some point but all my focus is on the Introduction course currently
You are a true guiding light for those in the Applied/Engineered & LC HVAC and the HVAC BAS Controls LOB’s.
