I am adding a few details without spoiling anything: 1. eggs broken is not the only taboo condition for instant death, think about the original story of Fitcher's Bird for the other one (and why the door god put needle in the bowl and made that cake) 2. Still, having your egg broken means the door god will target you more and try to hurt you more 3. Ruan Ge switched his egg with Lingling and did not sleep that night to look out if anything happened to Lingling, and after realising it did not work, he slept on Lingling's side of the bed where the drill came. 4. He also broke his egg instantly when he got it back, not just for gambling with his life, but more for the fact that when his egg is more broken than Lingling's, he will be the door god's number one priority to kill. 5. When his egg was more broken than Lingling's, he had a good sleep lol, while Lingling became the one who stayed up the whole night. They love each other so much already🥲 Also, you are very smart but also have many wild guesses so I guess it balanced out hahaha. You can guess something right but not everything, which means this show is just the right amount of entertaining and surprise for you!

Love your reactions! This door is creepy, but not the scariest. If you're worried about horror, the Zuozi arc/door will be the scariest one. Also, in this episode, when Ruan Ge says "keep your egg safe" - you might find it hilarious to know that "egg" in Chinese has the same double meaning as "ball" does in English 🤭🤭
