I'm here in the UK.I bought a set of Michelin Cross Climate 2 235/45/18 tyres. First off tread depth was less than 7mm. After 9 months of use and 21000 miles, the tyres were down to 2.5mm,not good. At about half way worn, the tyres were noisy similar to wheel bearing failing.Dry braking, well I though they might be better but no.Finally,Michelin said the tyres would improve fuel consumption, not the case.I was getting around 3 miles per gallon less. I won't be buying these tyres again,I'm going to try Continental All Season Contact 2 . I'll keep you informed in 6 months time,to let you know how the Continental does.
Thanks for sharing your detailed experience! It’s really insightful to hear how the CrossClimate 2 performed for you over time. The rapid wear and increased noise, especially at mid-life, are definitely concerning for a premium tire. Fuel consumption is another critical factor, and it’s disappointing that it didn’t meet expectations. The Continental AllSeasonContact 2 is a solid choice and could offer better longevity and performance in your conditions. Looking forward to hearing your update after six months with the Continentals good luck with the switch!
I have used Michelin tires on all my vehicles for years. They are good tires if you put lots of miles on within four to 2:54 five years. but will never buy them again. All badly weather cracked after five years. No warranty for weather damage
Thank you for sharing your experience! Michelin tires are known for their performance, but I understand how disappointing it can be to see weather cracking after a few years, especially with no warranty coverage for that. Longevity is important, and feedback like yours helps others make informed choices. Appreciate your insights!
Very weak presentation. No data, no test, no nothing! Just a long and cheap talking. Sorry dude, but this is not the way to present tires! Especially when we are talking about premium manufacturers.
Thanks for the honest feedback! I understand that data and test results are crucial, especially for premium tires. I’ll work on including more detailed comparisons and performance metrics in future videos to make the content more informative. Appreciate your input!
