Thanks for the tip about double sided tape. Also, watching you do wax seals has made me less afraid to try mine, so thanks, again.

Very nice pages !! My favorite book is pride and prejudice because it shows how could be love in different way with multiple loves stories. For me it s not only Elisabeth and M. Darcy. For the show it s persuasion... i do love when she runs at the end... the actrice is so sweet and shows perfectly her sadness when she looks the camera... love that show!

I love that Persuasion adaptation! So wonderfully moody and emotionally powerful.

Lovely! You can also use glitter eye shadow on your seals to highlight the image ☀️

So fun! Love how beautiful the pages turned out…the soft whites and creams are perfect! My top three Austen are (1)Persuasion (2)Mansfield Park💛 (3) P&P because it was the first Austen I ever read and is just so iconic😊

One more thing ! Lol. Another fun bit to try is clear wax with pressed flowers and nail stickers.

I do like Mr Darcy. I think Colin Firth & Matthew MacFadyen make a well rounded Darcy.
My favourites are: P&P, Persuasion, Mansfield Park.
    I also like Captain Wentworth

Captain Wentworth is one of my favorites, too! And Persuasion is one of my top favorites books. :)

I do love Pride and Prejudice, because of the witty banter between Mr Darcy and Elizabeth, and I think the 1995 adaptation is a masterpiece with the beautiful Jennifer Ehle (although I agree with you that the Emma adaptation with Romola Garai is one of the best as well!). However, I have to say that my favourite book by Jane Austen is Persuasion. It's also the only one that ends on a somewhat ominous tone, I think.

Persuasion is a top favorite of mine!

My theory as to why so many people like Darcy is that he’s a prime example of “BUT I CAN CHANGE HIM. HE ISNT ALL BAD.”

I really enjoyed this video! I love seeing your process. My favorite Jane Austen book is Sense and Sensibility and my favorite adaptation is Emma Thompson’s. I don’t care for Mr. Darcy either, I don’t see what all the fuss is over Pride and Prejudice. Actually my favorite hero is Captain Wentworth in Persuasion.:)

Emma Thompson’s adaptation is also a favorite! The soundtrack is beautiful. I have a copy of the screen play and love to flip through it sometimes.

I love my wax seals but I would caution using the plastic waxes in a very well ventilated space because plastic is not meant to be inhaled and can cause issues with inflammation in the lungs and more short term can cause unpleasant migraines etc. I actually only use those types of “waxes” outside. Having said all that beautiful work. There’s something so special about those classic touches

I totally thought about that while doing this, because they feel more plasticy than wax. And sealing things do add that special touch!
