My late Dad in 1990 purchased me a 1982 SR125 from a neighbour. I loved that bike as it guided me through parts 1 and 2. It covered 90k miles until it was retired.
Are you going to be posting any updates for your restoration on UA-cam or Instagram? I just got a '92 SR 125 the other day and looking to restore little bits here and there
Yes me too, SR 125 from 97, 70000 km, seems this bike was built to last forever. If some stupid people removed the anti-corrosion-paint from the engine, it looks like that, not the fault of Yamaha (or yours). I had to reduce the valve-spacing to half of the service-manuals value, so it doesnt ticker like a sewing machine, new ball bearings , new stearing bearings, new tires, and the exhaust was very expensive, but again lastet over 15 years. Brought me to work for all those years, and still a hobby travelling to biker meetings, unbelievable people are still interested to buy it off, but no way.

Hey, what's the top Speed?
65mph the same performance as the Honda GS125 I did my training on (in the UK 2008).
Can i ride this bike with two people on it? We both are 80 kgs and will it climb uphill roads?
yeah, it shouldn't be a problem for any 125 in decent condition
Love this bike and love this review. Looking for one of these as a project. Lovely bike ❤️
