I dont think gecs is trying to be the lyrical or melodic mozart and beethoven of our generation, it's very clear that it's all tongue-in-cheek, and meant to just be pure, high-energy stupid-fun music. This type of stuff is great at a rave/club/party type concert where the whole crowd is a mosh pit.
They've proven they have an amazing ear for melody, song structure, and production so anything they make has that kind of experience to it, even when they go weird with it
