Lovely, thanks Kate! I had a chance to try out glass fusion with a cross I made for the first communion for my older daughter, and it was so much fun! Can‘t wait to go and make a second cross for my younger daughter for her first communion this coming spring! Hope your cold is all gone by now!
So nice to see Philippa again. Those trees are gorgeous. Since I've got to know my favorite actor in person it turned out he has an amazing creative family. One of his family members does work with glass also. Bonnie Rubenstein is her name and she makes the most beautiful things like Philippa. Those trees you've made have a 3d depth in them. What looks like flat on the backside is floating when you look at it at the front. That will give some great sparkles hanging in a tree with lights. Awesome job ladies. Always nice seeing you in Kate's videos Philippa. ❤xxxx
It has been a treat having the daily videos and to see such unique artisans and their workspaces. Thanks to Anna too for doing the filming. We have had lots of rain this November in southern/eastern Australia so it feels more like what I imagine an English summer is like. Better than the fires of two years ago! Thanks for doing so much when you weren't feeling the best, Kate.
I adore when you take us to visit with Phillippa! I love love love glass. I'm loving how you're visiting all of these people and showing us their wares and talent.
Thank you, Kate and Anna, for showing the process of all the special things that are going in the Christmas boxes. I just love this tree. I have enjoyed every video. I hope that I will be able to get a box this year. I have tried the last two years. Hope that this is my lucky year!! 😁Love and Blessings to you and your beautiful family. ❤️😘🤗🥰💕
Just love watching each episode of the "how to" of each Christmas Box item and the folks who create them. Don't push too hard Kate, get your rest, naps to help the recovery period. I know you're excited to share.
Kate I know I sound like a broken record or parrot!! You have built such wonderful friendships and everyone is incredibly talented!! The trees are so unique and gorgeous. Well done Phillipa and Kate!!! God Bless you
Look at that, isn’t that oretty for in my Xmas tree 🤩🤩😉 The wish stick of last year is still hanging happily in my workroom 😍, just like the willow star and the origami bird. I do hope to be able a box this year again 🎁🎄
What a wonderful tutorial Kate. This lady is very talented indeed. Who would have thought those ground up bits dropped on glass and fired would turn out to be little trees. It was wonderful. Thank you Kate. Have a very Blessed day.
Omgosh ! Amazing ! Your friends are so talented. I really want a box ! I've been telling my mom about you . She is 85 and terminally ill. I take care of her here . I'm going to decorate her room with all these gems 🎅🎄 thank you Kate☺
Kate, I loved watching how the glass trees were made and especially watching you make some. Your wonder and delight as you addded the glass elements shone out from you like from a little child. You do have that childlike sense and it's one of the many things I love about you!
Hi Kate. The Christmas trees 🌲are absolutely beautiful. You have so many talented friends Kate. I hope your cold gets better soon. Thank you for sharing this lovely video. 😊❤ xx
I adore Phillippa and her work is just AMAZING! I love how she uses the leftover bits too. What a beautiful addition to the Christmas boxes!! Thank you for sharing with us. xxx
Absolutely beautiful! There is something truly magical about glass. If you or Phillippa are ever in the U.S., you must visit the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, New York, watch the glass blowers at work, and take in the entire history of glass making.
I just love glass, and I do have a collection, so I'm green with envy at you being able to enjoy going through the work in progress, Kate. How beautiful those trees are. Scrumptious indeed.💖🎄 Thank you so much for sharing. 🥰
We missed you when you were not feeling well, Kate, and are so glad to see you back and sparkling even as you regain your strength and perfect health. This was another interesting and delightful video of you and your family and friends preparing the Christmas boxes! Thanks for sharing the "behind the scenes" with us! I love the music you add to your videos, and this one was especially lovely. Bless you!
Mesmerizing! I couldn't imagine how the finished tree would look, so lovely. It was a little tough trying to listen, she's quiet and of course you were muffled, but the outcome was amazing👍thanks again Kate, so interesting.🤗
Hahaha...just as you said 'I love people's workshops' I was thinking exactly the same! Utterly lovely.....though I would be scared of the cutting bit! Such beautiful trees for your boxes, bravo Phillippa.
I have had such a treat visiting all my friends workshops - so inspiring! and tonight you get to visit MY workshop! with the cutting, you just have to be BOLD! tentative cutting won't do it - I couldn't work with glass full time - too hard! I like my fabric - but I LOVE love love coloured glass! xxxxx
@@thelasthomelyhouse Yay for your workshop tonight! My cousin makes stained glass.......she let me have a go once but, erm, yes, I was far too tentative!

Kate, I love the glass Christmas trees. The edges are so soft looking. And the sparkle and shine on them is perfect. Please tell Phillippa how much I look forward to maybe winning one. What a lovely addition to the boxes this year. Cheers
Just being able to watch this series of artists and the work you all are putting into these boxes is a Christmas treat in itself! I love meeting the artisans and workers behinds the scenes who will be contributing to your boxes. Just lovely all around!
Ours always so thoughtful. Nice of you wearing a mask. They are beautiful ornaments. This is a thrifty Christmas so none for me this year. Maybe things will be better by next year! 😏
I remember seeing her making those angels from 2 yrs ago, was it really?! Loved them so much but now I think the trees are even lovelier if possible. 🌲🌲🎄
Phillippa does marvelous work. I'd love to see it IRL! It was beautiful on my computer screen, so I can only imagine how gorgeous it is in the hand. As always, your boxes look amazing and I love how you give local businesses a shout-out. There is so much talent and creativity out there. Thanks for sharing!
why would you think that ? the Boxes arrived in good time last year. I am impressed with the postal system! Free Tracked Shipping with the code BOX 21 - we do our best! xxx
Kate, you bring back the wonder to Christmas. Did I mention that Green and Gold are Australian Olympic colours representing the green of the leaves and yellow of the Wattle flowers? 💚💛

Phillippa is such a talented artistic lady! I must say, I absolutely LOVE her dress and would like to find that pattern to make one for myself. Kate, your lime green sweater goes perfectly with her electric blue dress, as well! Bravo! Well done on the ornaments to you both! (And thanks sweet quiet camera lady!)
It is always lovely to see artisans at work! I love glasswork, and the trees are gorgeous. How wonderful for you to live in an area surrounded by so many interesting and talented people! Beautiful community!
Lol you’re like a child in a candy shoppe applying all the colors but when she said ‘shimmer’, you perked up. Not only do you get lime green but you get shimmery lime green trees. Thank you for taking us to Philippa’s workroom. Another Hobbit place in the shire. She is a dear and she also happens to look like all the women in my family with our fair skin and red hair!
