I'm planning on joining the navy but I'm so nervous and ready at the same time. I keep pushing my ASVAB test back but I’m suppose to take it sometime next week. I’m also concerned that I might get disqualified because of my weight. I have so many questions, but I don't want to overwhelm you, lol. Do you have any advice or recommendations?
Honestly its alright to be nervous about this. My best advice is to score your best on the asvab and find the rates best for you and ask about bonuses. The actual bootcamp experience is not hard, right now just focus on setting yourself up for the future for when u do complete bootcamp. My best advice: 1. Don’t volunteer for anything 2. Don’t trust anyone (maybe like 1 or 2 people 3. Stay to yourself 4. Do what you supposed to do And lastly. Bootcamp is a stressful environment. You will most likely always be getting yelled at and making mistakes casually. But the thing is to learn from everything and not take anything to heart.
Hey! Congratulations on graduating. I have a question. Can we bring and use our own panties and sports bras? Or will they send them home and make us use the ones they provide?
@@FashionGliter on the night of arrival,you won’t be allowed to have it…but during bootcamp-If your family sends it,you can keep it…just as long as you can keep it where your RDC won’t see it during inspection

They shouldn't. It was probably her program and picking deps. You can get fucked cause you haaave to choose a job and theres a chance they wont have what you want. You dont want to sign any contract unless they have the job you want before you join.
Is the future sailor program worth it... and what questions came on the Asvab... is it what u were taught on Preparatory school...or different question
How do you know when to invite your family to attend your graduation before time, because it sound as if it’s very easy for you to get push back for anything you do wrong 😑???
How long does the first call to notify the family that you have arrived last? And for those who have family in another country, do they allow calls via WhatsApp?

I agree. It’s good to practice. I’m in my 30’s and I can do all of those. Run. Planks and pushups. Swim.

Im mainly scared for swimming because I don’t know how to swim
if you can just find a pool somewhere i recommend going in just getting used to being in water and practice floating

Dont worry, yes swimming is a bug factor in graduating bootcamp, but honestly just listen to the instructors and really do your best.

What if I fail the ASVAB ? I choose my Job Personnel Specialist but I still need to retake the ASVAB

It all depends on your RDC,but the standard time is an hour
