My theory is that Great had a near death experience and then we're watching his life again, while he's trying to live. And always when he has a chance to make a good decision, to change his actual future, the time goes back for him to do that.
I don't understand a damn thing most of the times, but I'm so here for this 😂. I love when I don't fully get what's going on ,it makes me want to keep watching because I want to know what will be revealed next. I love this series.

I'm guessing you didn't watch the sultrier version. In the sultrier version, when Great colides with Thyme, he gets a glimpse of their intimate scene. That's why he pays attention to the doctor.
