    It was a difficult journey, but the ride through the steppes and run into a herd of wild camels and other animals is something nobody will ever take from you. Glad you made it out, I hope that arranging a bank account won't be an issue.

      Those camels and and horses are not wild. Those are livestocks. In Mongolia, even livestocks are free to go anywhere they want. We don't keep them inside fence. Even they have some level of freedom. 🤣🤣🤣

Just randomly came across this video and wanted to say Welcome to Mongolia ( land of the blue sky) I'm sure you will be safe in our country.last several days we are noticing increasing numbers of young Russian speaking people ( the most of them are Buriat brothers) in Ulaanbaatar. Mongolian people understand the situation very well and we r welcomeing you guys with warm heart. btw there is direct flight to Istanbul and Europe and Korea from UB..Stay safe :)

      I love Mongolia and Mongolians. I visited there a few years ago, by far the friendliest people I've ever met. I'm very happy that you are welcoming Buryats, I feel really bad for them because they've been subject the most to mobilization :( It seems like the Russian government is targeting them specifically. I hope this migration brings more economic opportunity to Mongolia.

      @@CrazyRussianSergey I was in Beijing for business and flew to Mongolia for trade show. You have no idea how friendly i was greeted. Mongolians are among the most hospitable people i ever met. And i am Canadian😃, so I know what friendly means. Anyways, stay safe my brother and dont worry, soon Putin will be swimming with the fishes and this war will end

      Katy you are so right, and a fact of interest is he travelled most of the trip on ground transportation except for a short trip on a featured vintage airplane. He is now 5,278 km from home and is separated from his family and friends.

      Escape?, i didn't see anyone stopping or holding him there - the border is open, the media keeps showing people leaving Russia, Russia is not holding people, and people have been exercising their freedom of movement since February.

      What an incredible video you have shot I watch a lot of travel channels but this was really awesome. I love places like Mongolia I’ve been into Mongolia and Tove for a long long time. This place reminds me a bit of where I live pitch dark at night tons of wild animals and stars in the sky incredible of course not quite as rural as where you are. I know this is a terrifically difficult time for everybody coming from Russia but at least you will remember this incredible experience with nature albeit such a terrible time in history!
      So sad that one man cannot appreciate all the beauty that the rest of us can appreciate and wants to destroy the world. Putin is a true monster.

      No fences because are no needed. Russia is a big rich country, Mongolia is an small unpopulated country where no one leaves

    Mongolia is so stunningly beautiful in this film - what an absolutely amazing drive to freedom, Sergey! And I am writing this from Scotland, which is also very beautiful.... I know that everything will be feeling so challenging at the moment, but I am incredibly thankful that you got out of Russia when you did, and I've never seen such a beautiful escape route, though I know this may not have brought you very much comfort whilst travelling through this lovely landscape. You are very courageous and what you have done was the RIGHT thing to do.

      Lily, it's an interesting point you bring up. I believe Genghis Khan is considered a super-father because he is the direct ancestor of one in 200 men in the world according to genetic studies.

    Wow! I had no idea there were herds of wild camels roaming the Steppes of Mongolia. Beautiful. That was quite the journey out of Russia. I suspect you will remember this adventure for the rest of your life.
    Tomorrow is a new day. You are safe. Take some time to decide on where to go, how to get there, and what to do once you are wherever you think you would like to be. Don' t make any hasty decisions now, take your time. Plan your future. Stay safe.

    the Mongol people understand - they have lived under USSR & Russian control for very long. They are slowly coming into their own. Proud - industrious - historic people. Enjoy that smile - enjoy the landscape - immerse yourself. Go beyond what Russia has told you is possible. And if a shop owner wants to share a mongolian beverage - go for it. Slava Ukraini - heroim slava.

      It took me like 30 minutes to cross the border. It’s kinda remote. Other borders are full and like up to 30 hours you can spend in line

    Sergey, may God protect you right now. I'm glad that you left right now while you still can. I personally am worried about Sasha as he is a conscript that was lied to back since March and I haven't heard anything via telegram since last Monday. Keep going and if you have a chance, with careful thought, leave Russia completely for a few years. Stay strong!

    Sergey, you win hands down for the most dramatic escape from Russia. I must say this is what I think of when guys in my own country say they will go bush/outback if we are ever invaded to regroup. Complete with terrible road and road corregations that can break cars, wildlife and stops for car repairs. A friend of mine lived in Mongolia for 6 months, I hear they are very friendly lovely people. However, thier infratructure sux.
