- The Outlaw is the flagship vehicle for the Viscious Evil Network Of Mayhem, and is piloted by their leader Miles Mayhem. It changes from tanker truck (stealth mode) to battle station (defense mode). M.A.S.K. was one of my favorites as a kid, it's amazing how well the toys hold up today.
The Outlaw I own is not in perfect condition, sorry about that! But besides one broken part you're not missing much.
Thanks for watching!

My only lasting memory of the TV show was one of the 'moral' bits at the end featured the line:
"You should never get into cars with strangers; they could be a V.E.N.O.M. agent, or a child molestor!"
Bet that caused some interesting questions for parents!
I've got this! And loads of other ones up in the attic somewhere. I must have 20 or so, not got them out for like 20 years. I used to love this as a kid. I've even got one that's battery powered, its a crate box that opens up into this thing with an infra red blaster, you point it at the other M.A.S.K toy and it blows apart. Can't remember what it was called but had loads of fun playing with it. I've even got the mountain base where the bolder rolls down the mountain and reveals a little gun thing. Those were the days. I should get it out one day...
This is one of my minor holy grails from non TF toylines, always thought it looked so sweet and villainous. I find that mask toys hold up really well to time, nice sturdy builds, most of my rubber tires are still in great condition, pity about your jackhammer, one of my favourites from the line.
@mantis999999999 I think a MASK/Transformers crossover would work very well! MASK stuff actually turns into recognizable vehicles that I can see TF's using. As long as they avoid the dreaded curse of the Star Wars Crossovers!
'Women and children screaming, men gnashing their teeth, DOGS AND CATS DRINKING FROM THE SAME WATER DISH!!!!!'
That was SW crossovers in a nutshell.
this truck was my wish for christmas when i was 4 years old xD so it was 1992 :D
Love the Outlaw its fun to deal with and a great addition to my collection even if it did take me yrs to find Nash
When I was about 7, I made an Outlaw out of Lego, then my nan bought me the M.A.S.K Outlaw for christmas, and I smashed the shit out of the Lego version with my shiny new Outlaw :D ahh memories...
based on a Freightliner I believe
I did want Snake Oil truck as a kid & still do
Bought a whole box of mask toys a yard sale today for 5 bucks pristine there were five of them all complete except I was missing one figure There were 2 extra figures that weren't from any of the sets I got. Nothing broken except for the launcher! Factory defect. They put the thing you push in upside down. The launcher arm does pop off by the button area so you can replace it. If I cut the release shorter it will work.
1:58 when I was a kid, it was exciting! Now my mind is sick 😜
cool review! MASK was always my favourite show when i was younger. but i never saw this on the tv show. hmmm...must have missed it. nice! good condition. :-)
That is in fantastic shape and looks great! I always wanted the RHINO myself(I think that was the name of the good guys Semi Truck).
MASK toys are always cool. My only problem was a lack of giant robots. Without ample robot battles it is hard to really enjoy cartoons for me. Mechs or mobile suits will do in a pinch but autonomous robots always win for my money!
In the early 90's there was a toyline with a similar gimmick but everything was activated by a key you would insert then turn (maybe where the cybertron toys got the idea). But alas I cannot find the name of the toyline or anything else about them.
Totally one of my favorite toys as a kid!
Imagine if the military used heavily modified civilian vehicles as weapons that could blend in behind enemy lines till needed
@mantis999999999 i think so i like that it was added to the video keepin it real yo ;)mask was my fav back in the days
Kenner probably had a licence for a few years with Goodyear to have their logo on the tyres, after a few years they omitted that on the tyres, either that or they wised up to not paying Goodyear an extortionate royalty! Love Outlaw, mines 98% complete but the cannon was broken by whoever had it before me.
Tracks! I have the firefly, who comes with a little hispanic dude who I like to stand by Tracks and pretended he's an aging, mustachioed Raoul. Lol cool toy!
this is an awesome toy...I used to love mask so much. I wish it was still around...and didnt that happen in another of your reviews, the falling board ? I wanna say MP Rodimus, but I dont remember,lol...happens almost every vid I do
When did you ever find the time to do this review.
I mean.....MASK is always working over time...fighting crime!
That missile sounded like it had a little weight behind it. That's a pretty sweet looking piece for display. Always loved MASK....even if the cartoon was hokey (weren't they all...lol).
lol@the very end
Cracked rubber tires are easily fixed using super glue.
Motormaster, oh god..........................
thats how big motormaster lol ok maybe just a tad bit smaller lol
hey do u remember they did a nascar cartoon where they did sothing like this
and smooth lol reall smooth lol
@mantis999999999 I started off tentative with Animated and ended up going all in. I think it's going to be the same with Prime.
Forgot to add, the gold missiles suffer from the dreaded Transformers 'gold plastic syndrome' I found out last night when the missle that was jammed in my Outlaw cannon was prised out it cracked into pieces very very easily.
@mantis999999999 Now that is a sweet ideal!
actually I havent got the mask dude to fit in any of them. most of them fake the leg room.... and the mask guy seems like the might be a tiny bit too big (heh)
I have that Rollbar alternator... would make an Awesome custom GATOR. just give it a mask guy style head. and maybe work in a boat mode... or a boat on a trailer... or just attach an atlantis to the back? !!!! lol
@mantis999999999 In fairness though mask toys screamed to have things break apart and get lost though. As much as I hate TF HA toys, I'd be all in if it was HA Mask toys!
It's seriously branded "Snake Oil."
Not at all conspicuous!
Yup! Move along, nothing to see here, just a giant tanker truck, no reason to suspect anything!
@smsno1
ps, coooohohohhhhooooooooooohhhhhohohohhooooooooooooooollll!
Love the Outlaw its fun to deal with and a great addition to my collection even if it did take me yrs to find Nash
