  • Day 3, 4 & 5 out of our 7 day expedition to Mount Roraima. This video includes climbing the ramp to the top through a lush forest, crossing underneath a waterfall (Paso de Las Lágrimas), camping in the "Hotels", Crystal Valley, Jacuzzis, Janelas Viewpoint.
Mount Roraima has a height of 2,810 meters and is unique because of its tepui (plateau) shape and unique fauna, flora, and rock structures. It is on the border meeting point of 3 countries - Venezuela (majority), Brazil, and Guyana.
The hike starts in the Canaima National Park, in the indigenous village of Paratepui. According to indigenous legend Mount Roraima is formed by the remains of the branches of the tree of life which, when it fell over, created the rich jungle on one side (where the fruit fell), and the savana on the other (the access point to the trail).
There is a multitude of biodiversity endemic to the area.
Thank you to ClubeNative, our guide Serge @serge_free, and the rest of the team for making our dream possible.
