Thank you all for the feedback on the stickers! I'm planning to create a color sticker similar to the intro logo I use on these videos. The black/white stickers are now available on my website. www.elementvanlife.com/shop
As always, very interesting and almost educational. I'm too old to get in this kind of life but I look at your vids with a lot of interest. A guitar and singing vid would be appreciated because you are real good at it. Have a good day...
Isn't it crazy that a city the size of NOLA and the best place they could put a PLFT was WWGO? I have a solution for the flat ground either body pillow or get yourself some wedges I find the wedges at thrift stores. Some wedges are near solid they are good if you need your legs inverted. Now the body pillow I use to use when I was trucking you place it on the low side it will fill that triangle space and allow you to sleep with your back to that wall and it actually works out quite well it eliminates that slant feeling you get when sleeping on streets. Also keeping your clothes in large bags helps too you can use them as huge pillows. Enjoy your buds while you have them in one area once they are spread out you might have to go thousands of miles to see one. I am finding friends I knew since grade school on FB. One friend happens to work at the hard rock cafe that was interesting I probably saw him when I went to the Willie Nelson event and did not recognize him since it has been 35 years !
C Sapp he said he does web design and easy jobs you can pick up. Think he works @ a coffee shop. I personally do restaurant jobs cause of tips, and they don't care if you stay short term
Just a tip Nate - might not work for you but it worked for me -- When it's hot out -- I'll turn the AC on super cold and let the car run for a good 5-7 mins blasting the interior with cold air --- Then I'll pass out right away before I get hot again -- before you know it you're waking up and you're good to go. My Honda Civic seems pretty well insulated so it holds that cold air I blew for the 5-7 minutes. The car won't warm back up for about 30-60 mins. Sometimes longer b/c it is night time and the sun has already set. Just a tip that worked for me all last summer.
I like having a sticker but you do need color for sure. And I agree, your You Tube channel should be mentioned. This is the first time I have watched your videos, and I enjoyed it. You keep it real. Thanks
This was on my list to watch. Good vid about a typical day. I can sometimes get real tired near 8 or 9pm, so, I'm thinking the idea of staying on a residential street may work best for me. When I retire early in the future, not sure what all i can do inside the van in evenings, though I am planning more on camping like activities rather than mostly urban dwelling. I like your website... Good info on it!!
Nate Thanks for another great video. Feedback on Logo: Could you print very small an after large V and small ife after the large L? Unfortunately the EVL looks like an abbreviation for Evil. Glad you are safe after the Tornado.
It absolutely does not your just a crazy Christian. Btw what happened to the Incan people and Mayan by the church was absolutely evil. Does not matter it happened a few hundred years ago there's still people dumb enough to follow the same religion that decimated populations of native people.
I'm glad Fat Menace mentioned EViL, at first glance that's what I thought the sticker said as well. I was thinking maybe it was just me, apparently not. No harm intended, just an observation. I'm enjoying your videos, keep on keepin on. :)
If you are looking for video ideas, how about one where you wash your Element since you have solar panels on the roof. I imagine that you don't use drive thru washes because of the panels.
I like the outline of the Element . The font really looks like EVIL at first, that is either edgy (cool) or strange 😜. Luv yr vids. one of my fave channels.
dude thank you man.... umm going to the bathroom out on the road.. camping or w.e was the worst nightmare for me i can't go anywhere unless it's my own home or toilet... and u gave me the biggest idea about cat litter and a bag and toilet whips and freshener, and small can thingy ... number 1 i can go outside anywhere but 2 is where the problem was... throw it away in the doggy garbage .. don't hold it in it hurts...thank you again.. ur real as it gets man. :) good man
good videos, I also live in a similar size vehical in UK, adjusted well to the life and recommend to anyone who's adventurous ( tho its not always problem free)
As a fellow Element owner and aspiring nomadic I really enjoy your channel. I give you kudos for making the Element work for your living situation. Most don't call the Element a van, but I think it's interesting you do as I've also often thought of my E as a mini mini van. Honda should've put sliders for the back doors! Your interest in video editing is evident in the quality of your recent videos. Just curious, do you watch any other nomads on UA-cam?
let me start by saying you was on my recommended videos i just subscribe i dont know how i never heard from your channel before this is all i watch Travelers
Id be down for some stickers for my element! I agree that they could be improved with more detail though. Maybe do some sort of psychedelic/trippy design? ;)
Is this your first winter down here? I'm over in Houston, TX and I'm used to seeing warm winters and weeks that feel like summer. hehe 🍹😸 The stickers are nifty but they feel a little plain but if you're going for that minimalistic look then they're good! 👍
Nice video, cool stickers. I just came across your video for the first time. where did you get that pump sink at that to you use? Brave man to live in such a small vehicle comma I don't think I could do it... Hahaha. looking at some point and getting maybe a small bus myself, and doing a conversion. Good luck out there happy trails
hay Nate I'm going to make a futon set up like yours, I know you kinda touched on the a bit in other vids but can you give me the length and width of the 3 Hinged board's that make up the bed and how high is the frame base I know you said that you would like it 2 inches shorter though 🤗
Have you found a good sunscreen product that protects but doesn't require practically sanding off an outer layer of skin to wash it off at end of day? I've found that sunscreen build up on skin over multiple days when SUV camping with limited shower opportunities can leave yucky skin feeling and can lead to breakouts etc.
Question came up from watching older EVL San Diego surf video but figured more likely to get answer in newest video. Do you have sunscreen you like Carlton that works but not too overly waterproof?
I am really depressed about New Orleans. I thought is was an old French city with southern charm and people stayed up all night and had fun all the time. When you drive around it looks run down, broken asphalt, dirty, old boring buildings that are not kept up, telephone wires dangling everywhere, bad parking, basically any suburb 50 years old.
I follow your videos quite recently. I was wondering how's the reliability & maintenance on the Honda Element since you're travelling a lot on the Element.
Hey so what was for dinner? any snacks? really concern about your health buddy. You only eat cereal for breakfast, I seen your other vids, I like them but now I'm questioning things... I even question myself every time I see an Element I wonder if he/she lives there🤔.. You Rock buddy 🤘
As a Element fan and a NOLA native I enjoy your videos always. Not much room left on my E's rear window, but would love to add one of your stickers to it. Let us know if and when you make them available. BTW, do you ever park down in Arabi?
Thank you! I don't typically park near Arabi or Chalmette. I'm usually closer to Uptown or Mid City. I just made the stickers available on my website. www.elementvanlife.com/shop
Hi Nate loved the video. The stickers are ok but have you thought of using the you-tube image of the blue element I like that better :) but if its a cost thing I understand. Also what time do you generally start looking for a sleep spot? Peace
Out of curiosity, what do you do to make money? I have been thinking about living in a van and traveling and I was wondering what jobs are good for that lifestyle. I just found your channel and I love it! Keep it up man!

Glad to see that the tornado didn't harm you, was concerned.
Love the stickers I would rock it on my Honda Element

Can't wait to see the sticker on the back of my 06
Congrats on 10k you've been really helpful to my future journey
Thank you!
Element Van Life what do you do for income $$
C Sapp he said he does web design and easy jobs you can pick up. Think he works @ a coffee shop. I personally do restaurant jobs cause of tips, and they don't care if you stay short term
Definitely going to watch every Epic Van Life video from start to finish this weekend.
our saying here is that we have 2 seasons......winter and construction!

Love this style of video where you show what you do in a typical day. Keep rocking! :)

Good vid Nate ! Nice stickers. Thumbs up... ENJOY.... THE SIMPLE LIFE
I like having a sticker but you do need color for sure. And I agree, your You Tube channel should be mentioned. This is the first time I have watched your videos, and I enjoyed it. You keep it real. Thanks
"Its closer to my gym in the morning so it ends up..... working out...." hahaha

Summer down there with no a/c running will suck big time.
Nate Thanks for another great video.

stickers are OK, should have a reference to UA-cam so people who see them without knowing you could find your channel
Agreed!
Right on. UA-cam and/or website name.
Color would be a nice adder
falcon trek I also agree

I like your sink and cabinet set-up. Cool stickers!!!

Washington and Prytania are your friends. Marengo is really wide and mostly smooth
good videos, I also live in a similar size vehical in UK, adjusted well to the life and recommend to anyone who's adventurous ( tho its not always problem free)
you should use the app "slice" to track your packages. its awesome!
this makes me want to make a van a camper
My sister had a element was a real nice ride bigger inside then it looks.
Great Video! Keep it up!

Your videos have been a nice break from the isolation blues. Also, you are very cool and pretty cute ;)
Loving the channel subbed
Thank you for sharing a day in your life. MommaFaye
I want one how much bud I love your videos
How many cameras did you leave behind altogether? Must have cost you a fortune
You should come to the north shore!!
Can you show a close up of the design and operation of the bed/back seat? Does it have seat belts for a passenger?
I saw them orebes toward the end of the video!!!
How do you prepare or what will you do if a natural disaster occurs like a hurricane, twister/tornado, or earthquake while living in a van?
would that "fresh" pb&j be organic and cage free? Seriously tho, i was craving one of those and then I saw you make one. Guess i have no choice now.
You are a great guy .
GREAT voice, good looks.. You have a future in broadcast. Should consider a journalism career
love these kind of vids make more please

wait what you passed by my house in this while you where driving i'm shook
Do you utilize a VPN service like NordVPN when you are at library's and coffee shops? Best Regards
hay Nate I'm going to make a futon set up like yours, I know you kinda touched on the a bit in other vids but can you give me the length and width of the 3 Hinged board's that make up the bed and how high is the frame base I know you said that you would like it 2 inches shorter though 🤗

omg that road is STILL under constructio??? i was there 2 years ago and it was exactly like that holy shit that's terrible
Where do you go to the bathroom?
sheesh. those roads sound terrible. and here I thought it was only NJ that had issues.
I follow your videos quite recently. I was wondering how's the reliability & maintenance on the Honda Element since you're travelling a lot on the Element.
How do you afford to live in the element? Thankyou

Nate, didn't know you were in elmwood. Would like to compare your element to mine and perhaps swap ideas
Why can't you park the same place twice ? What will happen?
Do you have any of these stickers available? I just went and ordered your current sticker.
I think your stickers need more detail.
Thanks for your opinion! I'm planning to make another one similar to my intro logo in color.
Element Van Life, I was wondering how long your bread lasts in the van? Does the warmth cause it to go mouldy prematurely?
how does your sink work? I assume one fresh water, then hand pump delivers it, then drains into a grey water? 5 gallon each?
I use 1 gallon tanks. I'm planning to do a video on this in the next couple of weeks.
Disappointed. . . .I just knew you were going to give us the "Gone Girl" shower scene. LOL
Hi Nate, enjoyed the video itt gives a good perspective. Just wondered how often you get to visit family?
Thank you! Not very often. I did get to spend a couple of weeks with them for Christmas though!
Hi Nate loved the video. The stickers are ok but have you thought of using the you-tube image of the blue element I like that better :) but if its a cost thing I understand. Also what time do you generally start looking for a sleep spot? Peace
Thank you! I agree, I'm planning to make one similar to the intro logo as well. I usually start looking for somewhere to park around 10-11 PM.
IMO same as your intro logo - additionlly the euro oval license plate with "EVL" might work.
I think the stickers need a little more color
Do you watch Netflix in the element ? Do you know any unlimited internet plan that you can use on the go ?
Did you ever do work out on your channel
How do you pass vehicle inspection
I want to join you nate!!!!
How secure are your boards on top? Especially since you are in New Orleans
I use stainless steel straps with locking mechanisms to secure them.
Do you self conceal carry or carry in general? If not please comment why you don't thanks.
how do you get electricity ?
How many miles does the element have?
Out of curiosity, what do you do to make money? I have been thinking about living in a van and traveling and I was wondering what jobs are good for that lifestyle. I just found your channel and I love it! Keep it up man!
Thanks! I work seasonal jobs in the places that I travel to. I also do some work online in freelance web development.
I got a question, do you have money saved up just in case your element brakes down? Please answer In the next questions and answer video. Thanks. 👍
What was the name of the documentary you watched on Netflix?
"Minimalism"
I know people have probably asked you a million times but how do you earn a living whilst living this way, is it web design?
I want one
www.elementvanlife.com/shop
Nola is very hot and muggy. How do you stay cool?
Can you please let me know what you plan to get out of living from an element? Is it trying to get away from society? Btw love your videos.
Never mind. I just saw all your videos and it makes sense now.
You really can't go wrong for some barbacue pringles...
What do you do when you gotta go poop?
EViL
#crazychristian
Like design and size!💋
What's your job?
Nice stickers! I'm a little worried about your lunch. You should eat healthier!
