the bottom of the triangle base has to be the same size, to connect properly to each other, but the heights can all be different if you want to go with more of a north star look.or something like that, just the width of the base of all the triangles has to be the same
If it is your first time def def use gloves. Now I personally don't like too, It gets in my way... in turn i do get cut! lol soooo I would recommend to anyone to wear gloves

That is called Flux, It helps the solder stick to the copper foil
