It’s great to hear this review about the primer! I have oily lids, so now I know it’s not for me! So helpful! If Sunlit Seduction had baked shades or a more unique color story I’d have bought it at launch. But I need baked shades or a color story I love (or both!) for it to be a must buy for me. I’ve been a Pat collector, like you more PML products than any other brand, but I’ve fallen out of the collector mentality with PML -and that’s actually not a bad thing for me. It did make me sad for a hot minute, but I’m fine with it now. I’m honestly appreciating all of the baked shades I have even more. If she puts out baked shade singles for the holiday I will snap them up. With a single shadow the markup could be huge…and I won’t bat an eye! This is my new hope. (I will never stop hoping for baked shades!)

The redundancy is bc people are not buying as much makeup. The economy is down. Brands like PML & ND are coming out w the similar neutrals, pinks etc bc they sell. Pat isn’t going to risk losing money on a daring new color story. The pinks are her safe house. This palette is for her stans who buy regardless & still makes her the most money…$130 plus tax. I get her decision. Not buying bc I have literally not used a Pat palette in years. I’ve touched Moonlit Seduction once 😩

This video was great and i appreciated it because you delved in deep with sincerity regarding the products. This is the first palette I truly dont want and i have alot of her palettes. My issue with MS XI is that it is a one trick pony. Every look is pink. I’m going to use it as a companion palette to other palettes of hers that have more neutral mattes. But your look is GORGEOUS! The bronze color on your lid is my favorite color in the palette. Speaking of same-y same-y, the Bridgetron collection was also pink - VERY pink!
I don’t collect makeup but I do have 3 motherships and her holiday collection from 2022. I agree that people who spend that much on makeup want to get their money’s worth through multiple uses. I also feel that she is following the trend which is softer, less intensity on the eyes and more focus on the skin. I wouldn’t be surprised if she comes out with a creme bronzer or a foundation in a more matte finish. Great discussion!

Lately it seems as if the major releases are made specifically for your skin tone. Both this and the ND Yucca look just right on you.
