To me, this album is their foundation. The bones to which the rest of their extensive catalog are built upon. They’ve grown so much since, but haven’t moved away.
I love this song! It forever boggles my mind that Tyler was pulling off this level of creativity, and writing such unbelievably deep lyrics, so early on in his career. I think he'd only been seriously writing music for like a year or two when this album was released, and he'd thought he was going to be a Basketball player before that. That man should be feared, honestly!
I knew you would like it 😀 The whole album is a different level. Here you can see the connection to "At the risk of feeling dumb" of Clancy. Friends taking care that their friends are ok and not going down THAT path. And you can hear the development his voice has gone through. Love your reactions.
This album was not professionally recorded either, it was made with the best equipment that Tyler could afford at the time which makes it more impressive.

Hugely underrated album.
this is from their first album and this is the first song that Tyler ever wrote
I never knew that!
What about npi album and trees?
This is along the lines of At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb. Check in with your friends, specially if they are depressed or have issues.
1:58 you just exactly played the beginning of one of tyler's old demos called "I need something" 😭

Young Tyler has more talent than many mature artists … he blows my mind 🤯
she away mv+livestream version is a mustttt
Loving your journey with twenty one pilots.. I am a new sub.. You're doing a great job 👏
Funny. I think every time I comment, I have said the same thing... one of their best songs!!
this is my #2 all time favorite tøp song and my favorite song on self titled

Love this one ❤🌻
0:54 Such a good question. If I ever get to ask them a question it would be where does that art come from and what does Morph mean.✌🏻
A friend did the cover art
His singing reminds me of placebo in this song. Also, Josh wasn't drumming on this album.
Again Love your reactions😀
❤️❤️🫶
Tyler did not make the album art. It was John Rettstatt. I believe he is credited on the album.
This song has always been hit or miss with me. Sometimes I'll love it and sometimes I'll skip it. Also I was the 69th like ;)
🫣😂
2:00 ptsd kicked in
