Thank you very much always. Definitely was cool and interesting I actually enjoy going to places like that it’s a different kind of experience. Thank you I tried my best and it worked out just disappointing that the go pro only had died. 🤷♂️
Thanks for tagging us along. The caves are always interesting to watch. I'm hoping to drive in one of those when we get Missouri state in American Truck Simulator. Congratulations to Angel on passing his test, wish him many safe miles!
Thank you very much I appreciate it. Anytime I’m glad Angel passed his cdl test yesterday made me proud for sure. Just saw him walking back after the 3 test and his road test with a big smile on his face said it all. I love American truck simulator I actually use to play it a lot and had prime Inc and other companies skins all around even realistic stores gas station with us names.
It’s an old limestone mine to build the interstate system. That’s one of the bigger ones as far as able to move around. There’s one in Kansas City that is almost impossible to maneuver in. But I always love the caves. I know that you can park at your yard, but drivers passing through and needing a place to sleep, the parking lot at the top is always open and you don’t have to check in.
Yeah I hear the one in Kansas City is hard and very tight backing some docks are a blind side back also. Yeah I been to the americold in Joplin Missouri and that was a cave also.
Great video bro! I got to go to the caves in Carthage, MO at the Americold Friday for my 01. My first time going in the caves. Pretty cool experience but the no cell service sucks 😅
Hello brother how are you doing running solo? Yes sir haha cell phone service and qualcom got no signal 🤦🏼♂️ safe travels 🙏 heading to Colorado now picked up from the caves
@@RunningOTR Blessed bro! I’m loving going solo. I’m still trying to get better at running my clock and being mindful of how much fuel I put in but it’s getting better now that I got my first couple weeks solo out of the way. I’m heading to Cali for my drop off now. Stay safe out there!
@@gonzalezmichael52 which way you running we are heading on 70 west going toward Colorado solo is definitely the best and when putting fuel if you’re lease use the fuel surcharge amount and put like 50 dollars more than the amount because we get major discounts anyways. Gotta love the caves. Good luck with the camera situation. I left my job as a company driver because of it. We couldn't even have wireless headsets. Would even be criticized for touching the radio and drinking while driving. So I quit. My decision it is what it is.
Yes sir it’s crazy that’s for sure idk I’ll see how it works out but finding another job would be easy since my driving and license is all clean. What company did you work for? Have a good weekend!
Oh and I’ve kept my opinion to myself when it came to dropping a trailer. I was taught back in 1987 to drop the landing gear about 2” from the ground. That was before I had air ride, but I never changed it. If the tractor doesn’t squat, you might high hook the trailer. If you don’t feel the tractor squat, air down and put a 2X4 on the 5th wheel (breakdown, my fifth wheel is flat). Air up and crank up the landing gear. But that’s just me, I’m Gimpy Express.
True I got you makes sense it’s better to have to use pressure to get under a lower trailer rather than over shooting the 5th wheel or smacking the reefer unit on the sleeper 🤝
There is a mountain cave in Branson that’s 164 feet underground and 3 million finished sqft where Springfield underground is about a third of that size I think. It’s all dug out, typically they are old mines but people keep on digging and they end up with a bunch of server farms in them and records retention. What you can’t see if that facility is what would really blow your mind. What I haven’t seen would blow my mind. I had all access to Branson but not Springfield as they have a lot of federal government assets in Springfield Underground.
Yeah those sensors are going to lead you “alert fatigue” something that cyber security folks deal with way too much. You get to the point you start to tune them out mentally and then the alert gets ignored when it’s really needed. They need to fix that ASAP.
Those date back to when USA & Russia were about to go to war. Those were bunkers for the civilians in the midwest to go to to take cover. Google them. There's a missile silo in Kansas city that was turned into an underground condominium. Complete with farms for growing food & water purification.
Hello and good morning I usually do top them off when I’m heading far, I was doing local runs so didn’t really need much fuel for it. I’m heading to Colorado in a few hours so I’ll definitely fill up the fuel and Def that’s for sure. As far as training I’ll take a small brake because my wife and daughter will ride with me for the summer brake since this is the only time they really are able to go with me in the truck. I may consider training after I’m not sure yet. Thanks
Yeah they are putting them in the trucks unfortunately which sucks and I’m not happy about it even though I don’t do anything wrong it’s still my space and privacy. They added the cameras to 300 trucks so far and paused to do a test first and then they said they will add to more trucks 🤷♂️
That beeps when you don’t have your seat belt buckled for a few seconds then it stops or the sensor watching your blind spot when it notice a tree curb car or any object goes off also
Yes sir unfortunately everyone will have them. They already have 150 trucks with them and soon they will add another 150 to work out bugs and test them out. By 18-22 months all truck in the company will have them. I just hope I’m last to get that camera not that I do anything wrong I just love my privacy.
Hello I got a question I am really considering joining prime but I'm afraid I have a domestic violence non felony on my record but I think almost 5 or more heats ago will this hold me back from being hired with prime could you please find out for me ?
Hey brother honestly I would give them a call and chat with a recruiter they will give you better information to be honest. There is people with worse crimes working here so I don’t think they would say no. I’m not sure if they look back 7 years or 5 years but like I said best bet is to call them and ask
