Streamers 2 boxing and going on a rampage without their audience being aware of what is going on is very detrimental to the psyche of the playerbase, it makes them think "I keep dying in WZ, i'm not as good as XYZ i'm giving up". It's one thing if someone gets into a bot lobby randomly, but it's another thing entirely if someone exploits the way the game puts matches together to get easy content. Also, the "07-18" learn & get better thing is true, but the game also put you against people of your own skill level most of the time too. Difference between then and now is popularity of streaming, people wanting to become streamers, people exploiting how match making words to make content. I don't remember seeing .ttv in my BO2 lobbies.

My problem with SBMM is the fact that someone like me and my friend group only play on the weekends when SBMM is tuned to the max and we don’t have the time to play as much as someone who does this for living so we literally never see bot lobbies ever. Also playing with your friends isn’t even fair if your K/Ds aren’t balanced. I have a 3 KD and my friends hover around 1 or below 1 definitely average to below average and just by me playing with them they are put into lobbies they can’t cut it in. I think SBMM is completely killing the experience for us causal normal gamers.
SBMM isn't the issue. It's EOMM. There is a big difference. Ironically the cheaters using unlock tools benefit from EOMM. Before they even use a VPN, 2boxing etc.

Pretty much my only 29 kill game which is my pr on any warzone was during vanguard cycle on wz1 and it wa bc I was playing with friends who play 2k not cod and they both had a .3-.5 kd and it was th easiest games I’ve ever played like I could 1v3 1v4 kids like a streamer would bc they’re so bad you don’t take damage so you can use movement to finesse them. You can’t do that against an equally skilled player and after that finally realized streamers 100% use vpns bc how tf do you have a 7kd playing against 2-3kd players like I got a 2.1kd and barely can drop a 30 I barely drop 20 bombs and I’m a sweat it’s just I don’t cheat and exploit the sbmm like the 2boxing and vpn using streamers

I’m a streamer who VPNs to avoid SBMM and I will be running a 2 box solo squad for content with full transparency. I want to see these content creators jump onto a classic Halo 2 or Halo 3 match and see how well their tracking is. I feel like a LOT of creators are using scripts and anti-recoil mods if not full on cheats. Really sad to see. I’d watch people like Metaphor even if he VPNs or 2 boxes because his game sense and overall inputs are so good I can still realistically learn how to get better watching.
When warzone tracker worked, I compared my lobbies to a couple streamers and there was some kind of fuckery going on. Sub-1 kd lobbies nine out of ten times for the streamer, one out of ten times for me. Same location, play times etc.
2 boxing is also a huge problem in the mmo world, on wow there will be groups of 16 different characters running around each on a different system owned by the same person. These people make hundreds of thousands of dollars each year taking advantage of the in game market, and then selling the currency for real life money. I think no matter what the argument is, 2 boxing is scummy.

What jeowo meant by big map is that sbmm seems to be less strict in the non resurgence mode probably because most players are more casual there so its easier to find normal lobbies. While in resurgence, if the game decides your fucked for x hours you are fucked for x hours
The main issue is that I shouldn’t have to play for 12 hours after I get off of work at my 9-5 just to have a decent game all because I’m BARELY above average. It’s all about player retention. They want you to stay on the game as long as possible because the longer you’re on the game the more likely you are to spend money. Good players have a shit time because it’s just a sweat fest and bad players have a decent time because if they just lose constantly they are just gonna get off. But for a good player (try hard) they want to win and ending on a lose is just impossible. Activision knows what they are doing with the sbmm it’s not like it used to be. It’s not about finding you a good game it’s about making sure you never get off THEIR game.

Imagine viewers subbing and donating money to creators after watching them fry lobbies and play great, only later - days, weeks, months to be exposed having manipulated the lobby for easier opponents. I’m a level 50 and all I ever play is 450 - 650 players, I don’t have a regular team to play with so get out with low levels aswell it’s impossible to play at times. Casual gaming is dead
I've seen this for a long time now and won't call names either, but especially in the "Meta Guns" Videos there are A LOT of pretty bad players doing this and what "hurts" me the most is when there's (especially kids) idolizing these guys that are clearly playing tricked lobbies, thinking they're good, whilst a seasoned player can tell by their movement and aim that they just aren't good.
I've noticed there's a huge difference between Ranked Resurgence and any other map I play in that ranked is harder, for me. I can go through the other resurgence lobbies and do far better than in Ranked, where most are about my own skill. BR was easier, but since the recent competition that drew all the best players to practice in BR and continue streaming it afterward, there are usually a few that run circles around me. I'm not sure one has to do anything unusual to get easy lobbies if it's not ranked.
If they all started announcing that they were doing it, Activision would be forced to act and put an end to it. I don't think we will see anything change anytime soon unfortunately.

Pretty much my only 29 kill game which is my pr on any warzone was during vanguard cycle on wz1 and it wa bc I was playing with friends who play 2k not cod and they both had a .3-.5 kd and it was th easiest games I’ve ever played like I could 1v3 1v4 kids like a streamer would bc they’re so bad you don’t take damage so you can use movement to finesse them. You can’t do that against an equally skilled player and after that finally realized streamers 100% use vpns bc how tf do you have a 7kd playing against 2-3kd players like I got a 2.1kd and barely can drop a 30 I barely drop 20 bombs and I’m a sweat it’s just I don’t cheat and exploit the sbmm like the 2boxing and vpn using streamers

I’m a streamer who VPNs to avoid SBMM and I will be running a 2 box solo squad for content with full transparency. I want to see these content creators jump onto a classic Halo 2 or Halo 3 match and see how well their tracking is. I feel like a LOT of creators are using scripts and anti-recoil mods if not full on cheats. Really sad to see. I’d watch people like Metaphor even if he VPNs or 2 boxes because his game sense and overall inputs are so good I can still realistically learn how to get better watching.
People complaining that UA-camrs get botlobbies would be able to get 1/3 of your kills no matter how easy lobbies they'll get.
When warzone tracker worked, I compared my lobbies to a couple streamers and there was some kind of fuckery going on.
Sub-1 kd lobbies nine out of ten times for the streamer, one out of ten times for me. Same location, play times etc.
2 boxing is also a huge problem in the mmo world, on wow there will be groups of 16 different characters running around each on a different system owned by the same person. These people make hundreds of thousands of dollars each year taking advantage of the in game market, and then selling the currency for real life money. I think no matter what the argument is, 2 boxing is scummy.

I don't really see an issue with someone 2boxing/VPNing as SBMM shouldn't be so strong in pubs, the issue really stems from creators denying that they're using these methods to make themselves appear as a better player and leaves a bad taste in viewers mouths.

What jeowo meant by big map is that sbmm seems to be less strict in the non resurgence mode probably because most players are more casual there so its easier to find normal lobbies. While in resurgence, if the game decides your fucked for x hours you are fucked for x hours

The main issue is that I shouldn’t have to play for 12 hours after I get off of work at my 9-5 just to have a decent game all because I’m BARELY above average. It’s all about player retention. They want you to stay on the game as long as possible because the longer you’re on the game the more likely you are to spend money. Good players have a shit time because it’s just a sweat fest and bad players have a decent time because if they just lose constantly they are just gonna get off. But for a good player (try hard) they want to win and ending on a lose is just impossible. Activision knows what they are doing with the sbmm it’s not like it used to be. It’s not about finding you a good game it’s about making sure you never get off THEIR game.

I’m a level 50 and all I ever play is 450 - 650 players, I don’t have a regular team to play with so get out with low levels aswell it’s impossible to play at times. Casual gaming is dead
I've seen this for a long time now and won't call names either, but especially in the "Meta Guns" Videos there are A LOT of pretty bad players doing this and what "hurts" me the most is when there's (especially kids) idolizing these guys that are clearly playing tricked lobbies, thinking they're good, whilst a seasoned player can tell by their movement and aim that they just aren't good.

I've noticed there's a huge difference between Ranked Resurgence and any other map I play in that ranked is harder, for me. I can go through the other resurgence lobbies and do far better than in Ranked, where most are about my own skill. BR was easier, but since the recent competition that drew all the best players to practice in BR and continue streaming it afterward, there are usually a few that run circles around me. I'm not sure one has to do anything unusual to get easy lobbies if it's not ranked.
