My daughter was ripped from my arms for being a heroin addict for 5 years. I tried to turn around my life and do the right things but her mom doesnt want to accept that I have changed and I am no longer a druggie. She just wont give me a chance, and now I have to live by life without my daughter and the sad part is she is spittin image of me, shes kind like me, loves cats and animals like me, is super smart and athletic, if there is anything I can do to help anyone else.. DONT DO DRUGS, DONT ABANDONED YOUR CHILDREN. I wish someone was there to guide me to the right path in life, Im not mad at ya dad, I understand people make mistakes. Lets end this suffering for all, the parent's and the kids. I love you Graceyn Noel Taylor till the day my last breath is taken from this earth and beyond.

My father was an abusive ( to only my mother) alcoholic. They got a divorce when I was in early middle school I believe. My mom hardly ever let me see my dad but when she did it wasn’t for long. Every time I visited he would hold me and we would just cry til my mom got me. Now I’m 30 the second I was 18 I ran for my father he has changed for the better not an abusive addict anymore he’s what I told him he always has been my hero. Now roles have reversed my father is doing wonderful for himself, while my mother is an addict. I hate it for her and have done everything I could do to offer help, but the addict has to make the choice for sobriety, not family and friends. I hope things brighten up for you and your daughter I truly do. And don’t ever forget you are strong as f*ck for pulling out of the hell of addiction.
My heart hurts for you, because I too am going through the same thing... Only the state and their foster parents won't let me see or talk to them. It kills me everyday. I agree, don't do drugs and don't abandon your kids, because you'll suffer for the rest of your life and so will they. I pray that one day you will be reunited with your baby, as will I with my babies. The reality is they're only hurting the kids more. We do recover. There are miracles happening everyday. Just know God loves you, and if you put him first, He won't fail you ever. I believe you guys will be together soon. I'm so sorry this is happening to you guys. No matter what, you guys deserve each other.

I only did what I did to get away and heal, now that I am healed I am stuck without her. I hope as she is getting into her teens now she will be wanting to see me and see for herself and make her own decision if she wants me around or not. I grew up without my father longer than I have been gone from my daughter and I have forgiven my father and have a better relationship with him than my mother at this point, knowing that Im hoping there is still hope for us. I am sorry you are enduring the same pain and I hope one day as well will be reunited with your baby.
