Does balance of power mean that, states will always for alliances to achieve security or balance of power can be achieved only by relying on ones own capabilities and enhancing those capabilites.? I always thought that, balance of power meanz states are going for alliance policy to achive security , for example = usa+ india= china+. pak,. Guide me in this regard sir
Balance of Power can be exercised in two ways :- 1) Internal Balancing : By increasing your own power and capability. 2) External Balancing : By making alliances with other countries.
