Congratulations! Did you find CRISC and CISM similar in some of the domains? Which one do you think is more challenging and why? I have taken your 'ISACA mindset' to heart and am performing much better on the Q&A database for CISM. Thank you! I know you mentioned at the end. Also, Good Luck with your college courses.
If you plan on getting both, I would do the CISM first. Risk Management is one of the CISM domains and it's 20% of the exam, so there's definitely overlap with CRISC. That said, CRISC is a little harder in my opinion. It's not as popular either, so there's not much study material out there compared to what you'll find for the CISM.
Congrats! I’m taking it next week. I have the ISACA database. Did you take the practice exams provided by Isaca? I got an 85 as was wondering if that is sufficient to take the exam or if I should study more
I already work in cybersecurity so I'm not actively looking for another job. For me (at least right now), it's more about learning something new and validating what I already know.
Not that I remember. They shipped me a blanket for my bachelor's (I never opened it), but from what I've seen in other videos, I think the success kit was something different.
Thanks for the video. Im a CPA by education but had a career change to Risk Management 2 years ago (big insurance company). I work often in our cyber risk committee and sit in on various cyber audits. Most importantly I help our CISO/CIO report to oversight. Would you recommend the CRISC over CISM? Both? what time frame should I be expecting to learn the material since my background is finance rather than IT/Cyber? I have plenty of great cyber mentors. Thanks!
Love the journey and I’ve been following it for a while. Quick question if I’m required to have 4 credit hours for a certain course but the Sophia alternative is only 3 credits does that mean it won’t transfer?
It won't matter. WGU and Sophia weigh the courses differently in terms of the number credits they give, but that won't affect if WGU will accept them. Every school is different, so the Sophia course might be worth 3 credits to one school, but for a different school it could be worth 4.
As long as a I pass and the certification is relevant to what I do at my job, my employer will reimburse me... although a couple of the certifications I got this year came from my bachelors degree. The cost of those were included in my tuition.
Big congrats! Looking to study and take the CRISC as my first ISACA cert. Cheers!
I appreciate your honesty and the insight you bring. Look to you before choosing what to study.
I appreciate the video man, keep up the good work :)
Congratulations! Passing CRISC just before starting your Masters...nice!
To be fair, I passed about 3 weeks ago. I just didn't make the video until today 😅. Thanks though!
Congrats!
Thanks!
❤❤❤ congrats love this man keep up the great work happy for you .
Cameron the certifications Ninja
Thanks for sharing Cameron
Congrats! I'm working on my CISA now. CRISC is on the timeline for later. CISA has not been fun
Random: Teeth look great by the way!
Thanks! I didn't enjoy studying for the CISA either 😂, but hang in there. You got this.
Hated CISA. Passed, but jeez I'll do anything to not let that thing lapse
Thank you for sharing your journey. I have 24 credits in my pre-game plan. Can't wait to get this degree. You've been a great resource.
Nice! Congrats!
Should I use the official ISACA materials first then use Hemangioma Doshi as supplement material?
Great hair mam......kept me till the end.

How was your exam finally?
With all these certifications, what job you trying to get into cybersecurity? Like your videos

You should rank the issca certs by difficulty
The CRISC and PMI RMP is on my certificate list to obtain a his year.
Thanks, this was very helpful. Which of the three certs would you reccomend to land your first security management job? Do you have steps for noobies?
Did you receive a success kit for your bachelor's or upcoming master's?
Not that I remember. They shipped me a blanket for my bachelor's (I never opened it), but from what I've seen in other videos, I think the success kit was something different.
What about CPE? How you collect them? Does ISC2 CPE apply to Isaca? I mean collecting certs is ok, but it creates burden of CPE.

Hi, possible to share the Hemang Doshi study guide?😁
What is the application that is used for CRISC exam, as you mentioned in your previous video for CISA
What should be the sequence for CISA CISM CRISC in level of toughness? Which should be done first?

Bro i remember you from those WGU vids. Congrats but damn..u still rushing to pass certs in a week or month? What's chasing you so?
Is there any special way your paying for all these certs?

Pressure to be perfect I tell you
What's it cost?
I just passed my PMP - for those who took PMP how hard or easy CRISK is ?
Are RM positions available at a JR or entry level ?
Yes
Can you get a job with CRISC alone?
