Just bought one to use as a spare camera unit for mobile filming with 95% battery health. The XR is a beast and it is worth it in my honest opinion
I’m still using my XR which I bought new in December 2018.

I got a lightly used XR as a hand me down to replace my 8 that finally died. Nice hardware but the reception SUCKS. It's horrible! I basically have a wifi only device, my 8 would have low signal because that's how it is in our area but I always had data and it was quick to reconnect as soon as it got signal. I'm gonna trade this XR in and get something else because I need it to actually work as a phone.

The last iPhone I brought brand new was my old iPhone XR I got in October 2020
I love my XR, use it as my second phone in addition to my 14 Pro Max

@@9852323that’s just not true, compared to x the 15 pro has over double the ram, well over 2x cpu and gpu performance, much better camera, much brighter screen, 120 hz, much better battery life, 5g, much more ai features
Even the 13 compared to the x has almost 2x graphics performance, much better battery life, 5g, more ram, much better camera, much better ai features
I have problems with the newer iPhones as much as the next person but to say they’re all the same is just insane

I bought my iPhone XR about four days ago and I would have to say it’s good being back on iOS because my first ever iPhone was an iPhone 11 that was a year ago and I rocked it for four months. Then I sold it to buy an Samsung galaxy 10 and I had that for about nine months until the screen broke. I rocked it for two months until I got tired because the fingerprint was not working and when I looked for a screen placement, it was a very high price so instead of buying the replacement, I ended up looking around and it caught my attention. I wish I would have spent more to buy the 11 I got it for 230 it’s 256 GB 100% battery health obviously it’s very replaced but I don’t care the camera software everything just works everything feels like the 11 I had but I am glad to be back even though I’m quite sad that Will be as the last major OS update

@@anubielly7400 theres nothing much new on iphone 11 just the size, iphone xr has already been tested multiple times its powerful and outstanding when it comes to camera, gaming, and battery life. if you'll buy an iphone i suggest you buy an iphone xr because it is greater but yet cheaper than iphone 11
@@anubielly7400better getting Xs Max or 11 series..Xr is kinda sluggish now..even opening apps like Facebook and Whatsapp takes moment before it open..and since it just got 3gb of ram..the apps frequently reopened..even if it just 4-5 apps..not to mentioned games..currently using one and planning to upgrade to Xs Max or maybe 11 series..if a cheap deals coming by..
it's said that ios 18 is major and iphone XR,xs/max will get ios 18

Well here's the thing, if ur a Gamer yes this us worth it and if daily user decently worth it tbh its super great 👍 one problem is that its battery after 5 years it is bad like average user has like 5 hours and my battery is on 83%
In Canada ( who has poor deals ) I get an iPhone for 0$ but it’s always 2-3 models behind and I’m cool either way it

Yup. Just upgrade from my iPhone XR to iPhone 12 and all I can say is it’s way better. Wish I upgraded ages ago but that was when I didn’t really care about quality and just having the latest iphones but now I am. Definitely wouldn’t recommend having the xr in 2024 lol

@@javo5270 I mean if you want the latest features and better quality then others will upgrade for that lol but yeah I get what you mean. People that have iPhone 13 wanting to upgrade to the 14 when they’re pretty much the same just minor differences/features nothing big
I waited till the apple event was over before buying this to see if the Xr got ios 18. I bought mine brand new for $100 (no joke it was brand new with 100% battery in the original box sealed etc) i thought it was worth it and is amazing!

Another aspect of iPhones is that they’re durable as fuck. Android phones you have to root, install custom roms and yeah you may find a good older phone that you can squish some use. But man, if I needed to get a good phone that works OEM for my dad or girlfriend I would for sure get a XR, they look nice and have reliable use for daily people who doesn’t are into tech. The only problem would be finding one with good battery life. Also you could jailbreak the XR and make some interesting stuff but this is another case entirely.
Bought mine in september of 2022, still have 97% battery health to this day. Don't listen to anyone on which phone is worth it lol. It always depends on how you use a great phone like XR

In my country it has NEVER been worth it. I'm still using my 4 year iPhone 11 Pro Max which imo was the first iPhone worth my money. It has always been my secondary phone and is used daily

Lost my iPhone 7 and upgraded to this and I really wish I never lost my phone the 7 is way better and more reliable. The Original iPhone special edition is better than this phone.

The Xr is still good and a good choice for the 10% of us that can’t use OLED due to PWM

this is very misleading, the XR 720p 60 hz is VERY noticeable and can be hard to get used to
edit: absolutely no reason to pick up the XR in 2024 whatsoever as there are similar price points for way better phones. It’s one of the worst value for money you could ever get in a phone

@@onlynexg301bad battery , same 60 hertz display, overheats like hell from normal usage , I use the pixel 6 and it’s really good only for camera otherwise the tensor chip still has so many problems even with android 14
