I keep hearing all the "I hate Takumi" and "Hachi deserves better" but you know what, if you think about it he was the best choice. I mean, he took responsibility for her and her child, Nobu didn't really fight for her he just let her go, and this also proved to be a lesson for Hachi. "Don't move too fast." She had a tendency to just jump into bed with men without thinking. This was the end result. At least she wasn't abandoned and left alone to raise a child. Well alone-ish.

This is one of my favorite AMVs of Nana. You did a wonderful job! Takumi is a perfect example of how wonderful Ai Yazawa is as a manga author. He feels like a real person, with a distinct personality type, even if most fans are repulsed by him. Yazawa is a fantastic storyteller and has a beautiful art style-- I just hope she can one day can finish this one.
Oh most definitely there is hope. At least now in the manga he'd be ok with everything since he's now a true blue adult. So there's always that hope and the hope for some lingering feelings of love between them to. Although to be serious-if I were Nobu, I wouldn't be with her again even if she threw herself at me. Isn't that what she did to him before to Nobu? I dunno. I prefer Hachi and Nobu but to be honest Takumi's better for her. He takes care of her since she can't take care of herself.

I don't want to give any spoilers for those who haven't seen the whole series yet so I wont go into detail...I just...well think of Shin's situation. In this situation its all Hachi's fault. In the real world, if you had a friend going through a similar situation, wouldn't you tell her "Well then why didn't you use a condom?" Hachi's character just seems to take no responsibility in herself, at all. Its always someone else's fault. She's a likable character just incredibly irresponsible and flightly. I decided that I will wait to watch the anime whenever they decide to get it going again! But I seriously cannot wait. I really hope that in the end Hachi and Nobu be together! I honestly think that they will be. The beginning of episode 47 gave me some hope!
Of course Takumi is a bastard. There is no way to deny it and Hachi ended up eventually realizing this. Takumi likes her he just...doesn't love her, not that way. Or maybe he doesn't know how. It's kinda tragic all around because he doesn't know how to really emotionally attach to someone, Hachi's going through being under appreciated and Nobu was betrayed and heartbroken.
