You couldn't ask for a better tour situation. Personal attention, no crying kids or obnoxious adults, beer and Rudy. Keep going to places on Mondays in the offseason, Ken. Excellent effort.
Right on!!! My father worked at that Miller plant for 40 years. He was a quality control technician. Back years ago, in the early 80s, they would let the employees there have beer on their breaks in the cafeteria for free... And then after work they could have it for free as well. That all stopped when a lot of people start to get drunk driving problems. yup yup. Awesome video. 👍 I sure do miss Milwaukee....sigh
From what I've learned. a LOT of blue collar jobs tolerated and even encouraged drinking and smoking at work as a reward or just to keep the crew happy. I was born in 1986 so I never saw this in the work place but I'm told of many machine shops all the way into the mid 90s that still let employees drink.
Been moving house and haven’t had time for UA-cam, got a lot of Ken content to catch up on. This channel chills me out so much, sometimes I like to just have old episodes on to just listen to as background noise. Cheers ken!
I remember visiting the Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado when I was about 5. I don't remember much except the smell and it was very noisy. I think my dad and uncle were the ones that wanted to go. Glad you had a good time.
I did the tour in about 2017 or so, great tour. Every tour I've been on I am always the most knowledgable person in my group. Some people think I'm associated with the brewery. I am just a beer historian.
My Brother and I went on the tour around 2000...it was a much different tour than they have today. We drank beers after a tour in a Miller Inn lounge that looked like cabin log with rock walls. It was really fun and I'm a Miller Lite guy! We later ate pizza a joint across the street from the Old Bradley Center where people were lining up to see Phil Lesh and Friends or some Grateful Dead derivative band. Pretty cool time.
I like Miller but my local bevco outlets don't seem to stock them much anymore. Everytime I ask them they say that they get so little stock and it runs out by the time I get there.
Nice tour. Great Video ! Pre Covid ? barely ? Jan 2020 ? "washroom" ? are you Canadian ? Hopefully the tour is as good in 2024 as in 2020. I wish there was a Pabst tour ...but guess that is pretty much gone from Milwaukee 😞
Drinking a Miller high life is so American. I love snicker doodles cooky with my bear. They have the cleenest smoothest bear. Aslo good with apple pie.
Jimmy Hill I’m hoping so... I’m nervous though he has a new Crew Chief in Jeremy Bullins so this could make or break his season. We shall see how the new crew chief pays off on Sunday.

Your tour guide Rudy was my high school history teacher and baseball coach! Great to see him again.
Wow, cool! I am from Milwaukee, what high school did you go to? I went to Greenfield High School.
@@_sheebie Brookfield East
Wonder why he quit teaching to be a tour guide at Miller 🤔
@@Jarhead1313 Probably pays about the same and no kids to drive him nuts lol.

If you ever get to Boston you should check out the Sam Adams brewery tour, it was great when I did it!

Happy that they were happy that they would be serving less people. but still happy with their happy attitude.
I have been on that tour - went twice in one day - you know why? They will NOT let you go three times - I tried! 😂😂😂😂
😂

Ya no. Miller is off the table, too woke for my blood.
The restroom urinals are hooked up to the brewing tanks, no doubt....more profits less quality !!! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
