Why is the mirror above the window looking at the side of the door? Mirrors are meant to be adjusted to 1) only a smudge of the side of your vehicle can be seen 2) not overlapping each other making the second mirror redundant. Adjust it well, then that car will be in view without the fresnel lens, but sure, adding the lens will increase the chance of spotting it, so why not, it only costs 10pounds
@@almatsailaukhan9181 yes, because as OP mentioned, the mirrors aren't set up correctly. if they are set up correctly, those mirrors are already enough. the mirror on the window is just a helpful bonus
The solution is concentration and memory. The trucker could clearly see the car before it got into the blind spot well in advance. He should have planned this overtake at least 30 secs before the lane change. There is no excuse for this collision to happen unless he suffers from memory loss.
What you can or cannot be seen in this video if from a stationary single lens camera. A trucker or any driver for that matter who sits like a zombie shouldn't hold a license.

cause you can't mount a big ass tv camera inside the driver's head. from the driver's pov, there's not as much car visible
