Hey I recently purchased the iped 2. The lead time was accurate. It took roughly 6 weeks to arrive. My first ride the chain came off. I realized it was due to the sprocket being off of alignment. I was able to play with it and get it to work properly. That being said, this scooter is a pure machine. It makes all other electric scooters look like toys. I love that its customizable and I love that if something breaks, I can order the parts and get it fixed. Its very pricy and its pretty noisy and its pretty dangerous as well. But thats exactly what I was looking for and I knew I would find that with Go-ped. Thank you so much for this review. Before I purchased I did so much research and I couldn't find anything as informative as your review. I might be making a video about this scooter as well. Great discussion on lead-acid. As much as Sam was singing the praises of Li-ion, he still gave the nod to people who have shorter commutes and want to save the money. Plus with grandiose Elon saying he's going to absorb the worlds lithium production, it's great to see solutions that allow you to swap battery chemistry.
+Ajemo Haltom I completely agree, Sam adds a lot of good perspective and I hear him make these sorts of comments when selling to customers as well. I learn a lot from him :)

I was so busy telling the history and my personal involvement with the Goped brand. After watching this video I realize how well you prepare and study each of the products you review. I'm looking forward to watching our review of the Goped ESR750H
Great review! This is the scooter to beat! I think the goped brand sets the standard for quality. The price may reflect it, but every one I've had still runs!

Seems very expensive for a scooter with similar spec to Ecco Recco M5 but way more ugly. I don't think the battery tech is quite there yet. We need 20 miles min, 20 mph and $1000-$1200 price tag. My M5 would only do 8-10 miles in real commute in Manhattan so I sold it. Great scooter however.
You and Sam are the best videos on this subject. No one comes close. I have an E-TWOW S2 Booster scooter with 2000 miles on it. It is the best scooter for my commute which involves BART and storing it in my gym locker and charging at work. Do you happen to know if there is something close to the Passion 10 available in the US? It is available from Singapore from passiongadget.com and can hit 40kmh. I would like to add a slightly bigger scooter that has higher speed for days I don't need maximum portability. Thanks!

Seems outdated, loud and not that fast. Kinda disappointed in this one.
