I am confused, the nest box went from a wasp infestation to a spider/mite infestation. How does that happen?
@@NaturalWorld253 the spider or mite is a swift lousefly (Crataerina pallida). They live on (all) swifts and even flies to the south with them in the winter time.
@@Lapsinka they look so large in comparison to the size of the birds. I guess they can also serve as a snack if the bird can catch them.
@@NaturalWorld253 Sadly common swifts (the birds) don't find them tasty...
