- With the great reception I got from my video on Vex, I thought about making a first impressions video for Zeri: The Spark of Zaun! Like the previous episode we're gonna find out: is she well designed or 200 years?

What really interests me is that her Q is an on demand auto attack, meaning you don't have to target anyone and you can use it at any time with no mana cost. I'm assuming this is gonna be great for kiting opponents but also for poking bushes and controlling the space close to her
Yeah, if you could kill friendly minions I'd say it's one of my favorite abilities in the game
I just happy I get to shoot Senna, Grave, Quinn and bypass their bullshit abilities.

@@marlikbudvergard Killing friendly minions would be incredibly busted. Gangplank's old (and I mean really old) E could do that and it was not balanced. It gives you such a massive economy advantage to be able to kill your own minions, especially since you would have far more access to your own minions than the enemy. The enemy essentially just doesn't get to have gold. And Gangplank's old E had a meaningful cooldown. If Zeri Q could kill your own minions, then she'd have the chance to deny every minion from the enemy, probably guaranteeing at least a 30 minion lead (and I am assuming that killing your own minions doesn't give you gold or exp here) at 10 min or so, which is worth 2 or so kills, which is massive advantage.
Riot experimented with killing friendly minions and it proved far too imbalanced and unhealthy

@@amogussus7702 Not just amumu, Frozen heart and Randuin's omen have flat DMG reduction built into them that destroys most enemies that go off quantity of attacks then quality. Leona also has the same properties built into her W and amumu is just the strongest at this cause his doesn't have a cap in the sense of the DMG reduction properties of everything else can only reduce the incoming damage by at most 50% of the incoming total damage.
Might actually be useful to teach people how to use skillshots correctly, like Xerath.
I just feel like this is a champion that only people who played her a lot or pros would be able to use her effectively and the rest of the players weeeeeeellllllll....
I believe Zeri is "new" style champion done right. No superfluous shit like Akshan's 10 passives or other 200years skills that do ten things at the same time.
I agree but I also agree with Vars that her shield stealing passive is just kinda there while the rest of her kit is very well designed around itself. I think they could have integrated that part better I think, for example if you steal a shield it charges your basic attack more than a regular Q would

@@freddyfazbearscout1661 That would run into the same issue though, she doesn't really need a Statik shiv Proc passive, her ult already does all that. It just needs something small, another example would be that while shielded when her w hits a wall the beam comes out faster, stuff like that.

Zeri would be crazy in Wild Rift. Every skillshot there will aim towards the champions automatically at first touch and a touch pad control will feel much better to navigate her movement plus hybrid items exist there

zeri's q is inspired by a character from a company that riot sued in the past lol and riot fanboys in my country are crying because i pointed it out. I mean almost everyone copies everyone in moba games

I feel that shes balanced by design, meaning she will only be undertuned or overtuned if they fuck up her numbers, 200 year champions are usually broken by design, there's no numbers that make them balanced with their current design
there are riot simply refuses to nerf them to that point
Akali is the perfect example for this. She has been overnerfed so many times and yet still finds a way to be meta and broken

I want some monster champions, I want ugly mean looking champs like Urgot, I want to see at least a grandpa or grandma in the game too. It's getting tiring seeing either thicc thigh, good looking anime face women and 12 pack, muscular, edgy looking men.
Zeri has a design slightly reminiscent of the 2014 - 2017 era of champs, where they would give each champion a kit with a "gimmick", on which sometimes the kit didn't play much around the gimmick, but did the job. (For example, while they have great thematic value, Jhin's kit could exist perfectly on another champion without the 4 aa passive)

I do think she's finely designed based on what we know on paper of her kit.
Her being a spellcaster doesn't really make her mobility polarizing, because she doesn't have a consistent damage source due to her main "autos" being her Q skillshot. Her E is based on terrain, and the dash in of itself is pretty lack luster from that range. Besides taht, she has a shield that is based on attacking shields of enemy champs giving her a award for landing her Q shots outside of proccing her auto-attack styled items.
Koreans and chinese are gonna sidestep her autos perfectly and shit on her

The only thing overloaded in Zeri's kit is her W's interaction with terrain. It's such a strangely specific interaction, especially when considering electricity is typically absorbed by earth, rather than conducted. I'd rather her W just be the laser effect fullstop, and they remove the default part that is Jinx's W.
Otherwise, very solid champion. 👌
Designer of Zeri wanted to give this character like a fps character vibe and he also he liked to do wallbangs in valorant . So he gave zeri a wallbang

Making her W always be a huge laser would make it overloaded though. Imagine using that shit for poke whenever you want through minions.
Zeri's passive let's her drain shield. Gaining a shield gives her movement speed. Moving will fill up her charge.
That's how it ties into her kit.
Her Q fills up some charge.
Her auto's use up charge.
Her E gives her some charge because she moves.
Her R gives her increased movement speed through overcharge stacks.
yeah that was a kinda weird/dumb complaint especially since he made a whole long point at the start about how that passive is filling an EXTREMELY required niche and it's about time we finally have something like that.... then at the end bitches about it and says he wishes they did something else..... like what make up your mind lol

Zeri seems fine to me, plus lots of fun, looking forward to trying her. Appreciate the originality attempt in ADC, which as Vars mentions has seen diversification over the past few seasons (and I'm trying to disagree on something!). Vex does a truckload of damage but is fine to play against too. Before that we got champs like Viego, Akshan or Yone, and I just think the new ones are WAY healthier than those.

Ya know, from what you said in this video, it really made think that Zeri ain't gonna be the best, but good enough to not be a character that doesn't get played much. And it really makes me feel like she's close if not perfectly balanced for now or eventually.
Having an adc who's auto-attack is skillshot based makes the character a lot more skilled, her kit isn't overloaded like the recents overloaded balance nightmares the last champs were, RIot seems to have listened !
Before watching the video and without testing her out I'll say she is on the border of overloaded but still a cohesive and interesting kit without getting 200 years

I have definitely noticed that when playing her. She relies a lot on positioning because without hard cc, she gets blown up.
It's almost like ADCs should be punished for bad positioning.
I personally fell in love with this character, and i think it's pretty fair, yeah, she can do tons of damage with just a few Q's and auto attacks, go through terrain and easily escaped, and steal shields, but, if you catch her, she easily pops like a balloon
I think her passive fits with her thematically as if she's draining the ambient electricity/energy from enemies shields and using it for herself
True, Riot could even make her gain charges for hitting shields.
She is perhaps the most fun champ imo.
Her kiting with q cast feels so much more natural.
I'll say that, for once, they made a champ that scales well into the late game that actually has a weak early game and is strong late

I feel like her entire kit is fine, except for Living Battery. It feels (to me, at least) like it doesn't gel with the rest of her kit at all. We definitely need more anti-shield (please give us a Serpent's for mages, like a proper one!) but I feel like Zeri was taken in the wrong direction. IMO, they should have put her Q passive on her actual Passive and save Living Battery for another, more focused champion relating to shields.
I believe her passive is made to have synergies with supports in botlane as she gets a speed boost from any shield, and the shield drain part is to have a niche way to get a shield without help.
@@sandyholmerin2925 Fair enough, but like Vars mentioned in the video itself, they probably should have implemented more shield-oriented things into her kit if they wanted to make it feel cohesive. Lucian's empower passive is designed to synergize with supports, but IIRC he can trigger it himself by using W. It doesn't ruin the champ by any means, just feels like it doesn't fit her gameplay or class very well by itself. :)
i disagree, for me Zeri is all about charging up, with the way her auto works, her ultimate providing increasing movespeed, she needs something that is going to help her stay alive to get those autos off, and give her the time to get her ult going, and with shields being very prominent, it makes sense for her to steal them. i think gameplay wise her passive will help her get the most out of her abilities,
for me living battery was used each game, actually helpful for removing shields
Am I the only one who actually thinks it fits thematically? She's a battery, she charges up in contact with electrical energy. It seems like a very simple correlation to me. I mean, it fits as well as Blitz's explanation does. If Blitz removes shields because it's an "electro magnetic discharge" then how does that make sense for a champ like Lux who's shields are pure prismatic light? It can't all make sense.
Also it still makes sense for her mid range aggressive play style and focus on charging up as a fight progresses. It means you have to focus her before she has too much move speed and shielding to lock down.
Rakan literally has "get some shild somtimes lol" as his passive. I feel like that's more worth complaining about lmao.
Honestly, I think Veri is fine in comparison to the other champions released recently. She has more going to her but all of it is easily understandable and clear to see. An overloaded champion has at least 3+ passives in their entire kit that's NOT from an ultimate. And has at least 3 other things the abilities do per ability press
Idk that seems to describe zeri pretty well i mean she has 3+ passives, her w does 2 things her e even does 3 things etc. i would even argue that she is one of the most overloaded champs ever released
@@rophet5988 she only has 2 passives. Her main passive is just a shield steal that gives a slight mobility boost, and her Q passive changes he autos into an ability while her Q active is her auto. Nothing insane there, her W only does 2 things, slows, turns into a big laser when it hits terrain. And her E sure does 3 things, but nothing overpowered, it gives her a small dash, allows her next 3 Q actives to pierce that deals reduced damage against each subsequent hit, and she can move across terrain. Her Ultimate does A LOT tho I'll agree. But it's an ultimate so I'm fine with that. Let's compare this to Shyvana for instance, Shyvana does 20% more damage to dragons and gains 5 armor and magic resist per dragon killed. Her Q counts as 2 auto attacks and it's CD is lowered by 0.5 seconds per auto and cleaves when in dragon form (that's 3 things), Shyvana's W gives her movespeed, AoE damage, and on hit damage, the AoE size gets bigger in dragon form (that's 4 things), Shyvana's E is a skill shot that goes through minions and monsters, provides on hit damage, and in dragon form numbers are increased massively and creates a scorching AoE (5 things maybe 6). And then her Ultimate. Sooo no, Zeri isn't overloaded
@@kelmirosue3251 first of All she has 3 passives or arguably 4, first is the shield steal, second is geting Movement speed if she gets a shield thats a separate passive i mean it doesnt only apply to shields she steals but also shields from allys and items. And as how many things her q autohit interaction counts is questionable.
Her e does 4 things if you count the CD being lowered by q but the 3 main things she does are all realy good in different situations and can be used for different things, same as w. I agree that its ok for an ult to be overloaded but not if everything else about the champ is also overloaded.
Problem about this is that once she hits proplay its innevitable that she gets the azir kalista aphelios treatment and she becomes way worse in normal play or they end up having to take things away from her a lot like they did with akali just so they can balance her
The difference to shyvana is that shyvanas skills all fullfill only one purpose while zeris overloaded kit provides her a lot of options and even if that wouldnt be the case, if you write down everything zeri does and everything shyvana does the breakdown on zeri would be way longer
@@rophet5988 I would suggest reading Zeri's kit. She's not as overloaded as you may think
When I watched her gameplay reveal trailer I thought she looked bland as hell until I saw what her abilities do. My only issue with her is the vault; she already has two movement speed steroids from her passive and ultimate AND a dash component on the E that lowers its cooldown. Was the vault really that necessary on an adc that already has more than enough movement speed in her kit?
The speed parts of her kit fits her gameplay: always on your toes, managing your abilities, mana and charges. Also she seems easy to screw the rythm that Vars was talking about, so speed for a swift disengage is welcome. If people struggle to catch up with her they can just buy slow items.
she has some of the lowest base stats in the game so she's literally designed to be hyper mobile but has way less reliable damage (if you go crit) than other adcs and is extremely squishy.
she's the perfect example of a caster adc

I guess, the shield mechanic is intended to gatekeep or at least lessen zeri's presence on other lanes, like mid and top. It means that zeri should stick to a champ that can consistently give her shield. Tho she can also leech off to some champs top lane/mid lane's shield, she can maximize her passive's MS with a shielding enchanter support.
I’m real excited for Zeri honestly. I enjoy both Jinx and Ezreal, and Zeri seems like a mixture of them. Plenty of skill expression, the run and gun kind of gameplay, it’s awesome

I haven't tried her on PBE but I know that I physically cannot play Zeri past 10 minutes, my fingers tire very easily and all the Q mashing of Zeri looks quite painful. Maybe I'd give her a go if you could hold down Q to continue autos at your mouse, but even that would suck for kiting, so... I wish everyone else luck trying out SamiraTalon!

I really like zeri, but I feel as though her fully charged auto shouldn't do percent health damage, rather just deal more damage the lower health they are, functioning the same way veigar ult or nidalee q.

@@kyoyaizayoi Executes aren’t a bonus, they’re a limit. Or atleast, they should be balanced as such. An execute shouldn’t mean “this strong ability is stronger if they’re low”, it should mean “I can only use this ability effectively if they are low hp.” This limits their power, and allows for them to be built around.

I see living battery as her ability to hit and run more effectively. Get in, do damage, steal a shield, do more damage, get out with move speed. Works really well with all the other abilities imo

Fun thing from playing her on PBE! You can cast your W while you are sliding through terrain with your E. This allows for wild angles and deeper vision cause it instantly makes the large AOE of her W.
The issue I see with current adc's that had ap builds is that if you wanted to make a magic damage adc you should give them ad scaling and magic damage instead of ap scaling
idk about that, because ad scaling magic damage is the only sort of unique thing corki has going for him.
You are calling Renekton an anti-shield bruiser, but no one picks Renekton for the shield removal on his W. He has an anti-shield ability, yes, but that does not make him an anti-shield champion (the fact the ability is single target is my main argument).
Yeah it basically comes down to the same argument vars did on zeri. If u were to remove it quietly it would change nothing to his playstyle and even most Renekton mains wouldnt even recognize for very long since it's used for the stun 99.5% not for antishielding unless for riven matchup maybe.

Honestly, I miss a lot more "medieval" champs like Xin Zhao or Quinn... I'm tired about this new champs that are more like Valorant characters than League ones :(
@@cheese6783 they should add an ICD (Independent Cooldown) for each revive, like u can only revive one ally say every 40 - 20 seconds based on level.
@@YukiKitsune361 20 seconds? If your teammates manages to respawn, go in lane and die again in 20 seconds I’d rather give up instantly 😂
@@Mastattak I say based on level. So say you were level 18 and in a teamfight and 2 of your teammates die by the same person. If you were to kill the scoundrel you would only revive one ally and then the other stays dead. Then it can only occur once every 20 seconds. Akshan wouldn't be able to revive multiple allies afterwards to join back into the teamfight or start to defend the base.
And at earlier stages of the game it wouldn't be as strong if multiple fights break out since akshan won't be able to revive said allies.
The theme is more tied to the part of the map they are from. This is the year of piltover zaun so it’s going to be like this last year was spooky season lol if we get a demacia season it will feel mideval

Have you thought about making a video on player retention and returning to the game? I still watch your videos and quite like them along with other analysis videos. Yet i can't find myself coming back to the game anytime soon, what with the buggy client, the influx of these clearly overloaded champs, new item reworks, meta and overall changes to the game. I feel like if I come back I'd be an old player stuck in their old ways. My assassin of choice, rengar, is gutted with the instruction of the new dragons. My top laner, shen, is the same champ in a new meta (Riot never gave him new voicelines and I'm still salty about it). And overall the botlane is nothing what it used to be, what is with these high damage dealing supports? I feel like the ADC should be doing the damage instead of the brand, pantheon, velkoz, etc etc. Idk maybe I'm just a boomer league player.
If you want to play the game just play the game. You Don't have to play ranked or be super competitive, play arams, pick your rengar and build the new lethality items, play shen if you want to, or dont. The point is: If you want to play the game you will. I Play ap shyvanna, tf jungle, yone jungle... The game has changed definitely but only you can decide if you want to play the game or not. I came back to league this year and I've been having a blast, although i only play with my friends aside from arams... you'll get used to the changes
Best bet is just try a few games and see how you feel or try to find some friends to play with so you can bs with "off meta" champs and builds and just have fun. Or just don't go back lol I started playing in 2020 (quarantine) and I've slowed down a ton because it hasn't been as much fun as before

It's a lot more fighting for no reason than it used to be. With the new champs and their combined mobility + damage everyone is just flipping and trying to mechanically outplay. The only way to come back is to do more flipping and try to collect bounties. If you don't mind incredibly snowbally games, and you like playing champs with mobility or broken damage, then it's fine. I kind of hate it but I still play because there is still spots where you can carry, it's just pretty impossible to do it unless your champion just shits on all of theirs. If you are playing Rengar well you should still be able to have plenty of fun though, nothing wrong with Rengar. Nothing wrong with Shen either, these are both pretty strong champions right now if you play them well.
AP supports doing a lot of damage has almost always been a thing though. Whenever enchanters are better than engage you will see everyone pick Lux/Brand/Xerath into them. Pretty much always been that way. Right now probably only Lux does strictly too much damage. They buffed her abilities, plus her passive still does a crazy amount of damage, and the ult procs it. Plus the ult basically has no cooldown if you kill someone with it. Dumb as hell.
I dropped league cause I had better things to do then I went back because pandemic and then I dropped it again because I bought steam games
League feels like a filler game rather than something to worth invest time and money into for me at least
I met her for the first time yesterday, I was playing zilean mid, she hopped over a wall and did 1 basic attack on me dealing 1080 damage with her passive, at the same time she did this, she also used her R, killing me in less than 0.1s

Renekton breaking shields isn't thematic, him being a rage monster is shared by olaf, gnar and tryndamere too. Only reason he has shield busting was because shielding was getting out of hand and giving a popular top lane pick a shield bust would shake up the shield meta.
I think it's dumb, but that might be just me being angry that renekton now 100% wins the malphite matchup now despite being a full armor monster against a mostly burst ad bruiser. (for free he gets to shred armor from the malphite passive as well as the shield without having to use empowered e instead to shred armor)
I mean, I think thats on you for picking a champ as ez as malphite. It lets people have an oppurtunity to just play better than you because your champ doesn't allow you to do anything interesting.

Trynda is also a viking but who got tampered with by Aatrox and gave him some of the blood magic that the Darkin/Ascended were known of using, so him not dying and a being of rage is directly correlated with the Rage of Aatrox and the darkin since he doesnt even know what it is, also he is married to Ashe by convenience but respects her and appreciate her decisions.

Honestly, I can agree with your analysis.
Most of the reaction is just "oh she's too broken" or "oohh Talon ADC". They drew into a conclusion without even analyzing the kit and picking it apart.
I think the wall hopping ability fits thematically to her since her vibe, much like Neon from Valorant, is 'gotta go fast'. It makes sense that she has a dash ability. Besides, her dash is short range if its not in a wall.
I'm super excited for Zeri, as my favourite type of ADC to play is "unusual aa's" I have 500k on senna and 200k on jhin so Zeri is gonna be a welcome addition

im an adc main in plat 2 and im honestly really excited for her release. the bot lane has been kinda stale and it feels like all the champions i play are itemizing in the same way now. dealing hybrid damage is exciting and i can't wait for all the fun builds that people are gonna come up with on release

Anyway watching this after she’s been released he couldn’t have been more wrong, I can’t blame him for not expecting her to have a 1 component power spike called teamat where she clears the entire wave in 1 auto, and still has insane damage numbers despite building like a bruiser… if they made her q a single hit I think it would be better, that way on hit wouldn’t be nearly as busted.
Though him saying she’s not an oppressive 1v9 champ like Kai sa despite her hard countering invis champs, vision abusers, wave reliant champs, and having an incredible team fight is kinda hard to hear.
Yeah she's overloaded, and yeah she's op. No, Riot learned nothing from their terrible designs in the past years.
First of all, she has no resource management. The way to make Zeri pay attention to her resource was if her right click actually acted as a spell and costed mana. She should be punished for using her as a regular ADC and treating her right clicks as basic attacks. I consider a bad Zeri a player that spams her right click in such a way, especially against minions, and it annoys me how players don't even have to learn this difference between her and other champions, but still get away with it because Riot decided to reward this misplay.
Second of all, her E is busted as all hell, you brought Talon and Camille into discussion, but those don't even come close to how absurd it is to traverse terrain from any direction, without any indicator, no cooldown, faster than bard portal and still able to cast spells.
Third: if you actually looked hard enough, you could find some things that could and should be removed: her E interacting with terrain for no reason, her W becoming a Lux ultimate for no reason, and some of her Q range, considering Q is a skillshot, it almost feels like she can outrange a Caitlyn in a kiting competition.
And lastly: Zeri is the definition of 1v9 rushdown champion right now, so many times I see people abuse her and do 1v9 because she's so busted. One game, we took Baron, and we took all 4 drakes, totally dominating, but unfortunately, Zeri does too much damage with her tank build, moves too fast to even land a spell, and even if I landed my whole combo she didn't care. Same when she was on our team, the player was bad as hell, we had to carry her until at one point she just cleaned up the fight with her movement speed and got a pentakill, 0 mastery points, and some random plat scrub gets a pentakill on this new champ.
Design wise, I think her overall gameplay reflects her theme, I wouldn't imagine an electricity based champion like her doing something other than moving very fast, accumulating static energy to zap you, and probably drain your energy shields. However, there was never a worse time for yet another champion with excessive mobility and high tempo.
And regarding her kit, a lot of things have no reason to be there, or don't make too much sense. I get that her gimmick is her basic attacks being skillshots, but is it really relevant? I mean, the balance/design team clearly don't stop to ask themselves: does a champion, especially one without mobility, stand a reasonable chance to dodge this ability by side-stepping? (You know, like true skillshots older champions used to have), so her Q ended up being pretty undodgeable, except for some mobile champions that zoom all over the place (Irelia), or a burned flash to escape the last basic attack (but they gave her her point and click execute so you will still probably burn flash and die without being to dodge the kill shot), so I don't really see what was the point of making her basic attacks into skillshots, for a 1% chance the enemy might actually dodge it? I always thought basic attacks might be more interesting if they were skillshots people could dodge, but now this gimmick has been wasted on a bad implementation.
And yeah, she's permabanned by me or my teammates now.
P.S.: No, despite Vex being intended as an anti mobility mage, she failed in fulfilling that promise and instead dashes all over the place and shits on immobile squishies only.

I played her a bit and she is really fun in my opinion. I always liked fast characters and ADC´s and she fills those slots perfectly. I dont know how it feels to play against her yet so I cant say if and how unfair she feels to play against. But in my opinion she is one of the best recent releases :)

Your prediction about Ad casters was pretty right, she feels just like a mobile more awkward ezreal not helped that her design is one of the most generic ingame next to gwen ( pretty highly marketable anime girl with colorful hair that doesnt look like someone from zaun... For me Zeri was really easy to pick up. I've been a Samira/Graves ADC main for a long time, so I'm used to playing ADCs with weird things but I was honestly surprised by how natural her Q autos felt. I'm definitely going to invest some more time into learning her and integrating her into my core champion pool

I think the shield passive could be op since there are so many ways of getting shield even if the enemy does not have any.
Like you can take Barrier instead of heal whish she will probably do, you can use Overheal in your runes, you can get Shieldbow and you can get Bloodthirster which would give her basically permanent +10% movementspeed which is a lot.
But it might not be as bad as I think so we shall see at least she is no Akshan I hope she is nice and balanced
I'm a "new" player, I play with my friends wich are way better than me and teach me how to play. I was maining Cait until I tried Zeri. And I think her mechanic around her Q and autos is so good to learn to hit the creep to finish them and get the money, while feeling less punitive than the four bullets of Jhin. I'm still learning her but it s a pleasure to play her.
she kinda reminds me of a "champion" in onmyoji arena called enma, who is also a ap mm, and has skill shot aa. her ult basically transfer her aa into a skillshot, but the direction is locked, and every aa attack 3 times. and her s1(Q) is a finisher. but she uses a ammo system, she needs to use her other abilities to hit enemies, or take down enemies to get ammo, and her ult aa consumes that ammo
Twitch essentially can be played as a magic damage Marksman.
His E (Contaminate) deals enormous damage (additional 33% AP per Stack of Deadly Venom (passive)) and they can quite quickly burst you down with these AP/AS builds. It's a very viable build on him that isn't based on a single gimmick (like Lucian).
I'm just happy to get a new lightning themed champion. Although I would've much rather preferred a lightning themed skin for my main Shen, I was very thrilled to hear about Zeri. I main top and second Mid but I'm experienced in Jungling and support; ADC is the only role I'm very weak in and now I have incentive to learn it with how much I love Zeri's design and theme and as a top main with no ADC experience, i can't express how much fun it's been playing with her so far. I honestly feel as though riot 1000% accomplished their goal of making Zeri introduce a completely different feel for playing the game.
One interesting thing with Zeri is that the Overhead rune allows her to self-proc the move speed portion of her passive. Unfortunately, it's only when the shield is intially gained, so you likely get it on minions. The passive does make Immortal Shieldbow quite good on her. Many champions just die through Shieldbow, while Zeri gets just a good enough burst of speed to escape a melee's effective range and actually make use of the Shieldbow buff.
I love Zeri's design. It's super fun and refreshing to play and not horrible to play against. She's definitely a little too strong now and I think a nerf is in order, but just some number adjustments - nothing too drastic like full-scale removing a mechanic.

When I saw the reveal I was really surprised people were losing their minds ngl. She looks pretty tame and Ive yet to play her and the only one I played against played like a beginner bot so I dont have any solid experiences yet.
I do have issues with her design thematically but I think gameplay wise she seems fine. Tho Im definitely gonna be building shit like Lich bane for the memey charged autos.
I absolutely love the fact that she basically has to aim her Autoattacks. I habe had so many situations where I watched a teammate and just thought to myself „Damn if autoattacks weren’t targeted hed miss them too“. Now that may become reality. But jokes aside, I really like the concept of aimed autoattacks and love how they play around it with both the e and the ult empowering them. I don’t even have a problem with the shield interactions but I don’t understand the random interactions her W and her E have with walls.
